French Swiss Ski College

"We visited for the first time this January enrolled six teenagers and one 9 year old in French Swiss Ski College. We had the best experience with Chris getting us organized and all signed up and situated. Chandler then took over as their ski instructor. He was the absolute best! May I say extremely patient with 7 kids after the first session they wanted a second one because they enjoyed Chandler and all the helpful techniques he gave them. As a parent it was very comforting to know they were with someone so encouraging and kind! Thank you Appalachian Ski Mountain and French Swiss Ski College we will be back!"

"Cameron and Rachel are a godsend! If you’re having issues with any lesson scheduling I highly recommend you try to get one of them to walk you through if you need assistance. Be patient. Be cool. It’s a challenging website that they’re forced to help navigate. Boxes go unchecked automatically and they have no control over the functions. But the passion for what they do and why they’re there and how they continue to deal with this cruddy site day after day shines through if you give them the chance to share. Thank you Cameron and thank you Rachel! You gals straight up saved the day and turned us from “should we even do this for our kids?” To “heck yea! We should absolutely do this for our kids! lt’s the perfect place for them to learn!!” Thank you!"

"Incredible school. Highly qualified instructors who’ll teach you solid fundamentals and the tricks of the trade. Learned skiing from Chandler last year and have been taking more lessons from him this season to refine my new lifetime skill. Decided to learn snowboarding too. Audrey, Hayden, and Rob were are top-notch instructors."

"Two people to get ski lessons for an hour and equipment was almost 200 bucks. You have to rent everything at a different spot, clothing rental people were very nice, ski pass lady was also nice, locker rental lady downstairs was cranky old gretchen and was a total B.... Kids renting out ski's, helmet and boots were helpful and polite, ski instructor lady was really nice, helpful and gave a good class. If you don't learn it's because you didn't listen. Place is pretty busy for a Tuesday, I wouldn't go anywhere near there on a weekend (packed). Grounds are clean, slopes are very well maintained, not a lot of places for beginners to practice. Lots of kids, adult only days would be nice.. Cafeteria style food, everything looked fried, I wouldn't eat there. But I'd go back just to ski..."

"Really disappointing experience. Son and daughter got a private lesson, first time skiing. The private lesson amounted to waiting in line to go down the little bunny slope 6 or 7 times after waiting in a long line. Instruction was poor, my daughter said she fell at the end of the first time down because she wasn't told how to stop. My son didn't want to ski any more after the lesson."
