"STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AND SPREAD THE WORD…..The administration/management is INCOMPETENT and DISHONEST despite the so-called Baptist affiliation. There is NO medical person on board most of the day. The administration makes parents sign a contract, but they break or change their own rules at YOUR expense. They never own up to clerical errors in your account or hold themselves accountable when they change or break their own rules in the contract in their favor, which makes the contract VOID, entitling you to a refund that you never receive. They simply do not play a fair game. This is a boys’ basketball training school, so other students help pay for the athletes to attend and receive scholarships. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone, especially to parents whose child was severely harassed or threatened in their former school, or for your daughter, who is a second-class citizen in this boys’ sports training environment. SPREAD THE WORD TO HELP OTHERS AVOID THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF YOUR CHILD’S LIFE AND YOUR OWN AS WELL."

"I graduated in 2020 and I spent my junior and senior year attending Oak Hill Academy. I was active in many clubs and in the leadership program as well as a national honor society student. If you are wondering wether or not boarding school is right for your child than I can assure you that you are making the right decision in sending your child to Oak Hill Academy. Their hard working and caring staff do their absolute best to ensure that your child is doing what is best for them while also having some fun along the way. Not just that but also the unique and structured environment that Oak Hill offers to their students helps your child make the difficult journey to being a young adult. Like all things in life you get what you put in, Oak Hill constantly encourages students to get more involved in the community in a plethora of different ways ranging from sports to leadership opportunities. After graduating Oak Hill I enrolled in Roanoke college and I can confidently say that Oak Hill has prepared me for college. I am currently interning at Oak Hill’s summer school session and am ever grateful for the opportunities that have been and continue to be given to me."
