"Update as of 11/15 (back to three star) I finally saw Dr Rezk. He listened. Explained a lot. Did not “throw parts” at me. Basicly said we had to wait till other things changed before we could move forward with discovering what is going on. I can appreciate that. Still i am not overall happy with the facility and place as a whole. Though Ill give a better review for him. Updated review as of 11/12/2021 (one star) I thought i would try one more time. I needed a follow up and have a few other things i need addressed. I tried to call. No luck. So i went to the ever easy website and picked Burgaw and the doctor i wanted to see and my date. Booked my appointment. Waited the week. Went to my appointment… NO ONE WAS THERE! They were closed. No one answered the phone. No one ever answers. I am over it. Earlier review: ( three star ) I picked this place after looking over all the places nearest to me. The website spoke to me on all it said it offered. The few reviews there were, were good and made me feel better about. Choice and they were most current reviews. Appointment set up was easy and the staff was helpful. The paperwork was a but crazy, but i managed. I didn’t like that I HAD to put something for an issue and or my parents history. My over all visit with Jessica Canaan went well (Though my appointment was suppose to be with a doctor…. Rezk?) She asked all the questions, was in depth. Though seems dismissive of my past health care and treatment along with my husbands. The real dissatisfaction comes from a few things. One, the facility. I guess its not their primary care spot and it shows. Two, I also have an issue with them not following up. I got my own results the same day through “my chart” but its taken two weeks and still no call. I used the message center twice with no luck. I emailed the front desk lady, with no luck. I called last week and left a voice message, no luck. I called today and did talk to a front desk person, she looked at my chart and said she would have someone call me either today or tomorrow. We will see. (They say the message center should only take that long too- two days- I didn’t get my blood work back in a timely manor either, but they referred me and I was booked before the blood results were given to me. Luckily I knew to expect a referral."
"Will update review if I ever get a call back. Went online last week to set up and appointment for today 11/15. As I was finishing up the appointment request I got an error on the page and it wouldn't load. I tried again and the date and time were unavailable, so I assumed I had an appointment but to be safe I wanted to call since I never got any sort of confirmation. I've tried calling 3 times since then and left voicemails twice in attempt to make sure I have an appointment but no one has returned my calls. I've heard great things about the doctors here so I was hoping to use them since I live close by."
"I appreciate the fact the Doc took the time to actually listen to my problems and try to work them out together and he actually listened and cared and seems like he truly wants to help me seek the best care possible! Look forward to continuing my treatment! Also, the staff from reception to nurses, show compassion and care for your wellbeing and are just extremely kind and friendly! Both in office and every time I talk to a staff member over the phone. They make you feel comfortable especially as a new patient! Thank you to all the staff and Dr. R!"
"Dr Rezk is the best doc I know! And his PA Jessica Canaan, even though she is new she does a fabulous job! The receptionists that answer the phone for both offices are always kind and respectful on and off the phone:). The medical assistants for both offices are always so nice too!! :) definitely recommend!!"
"Doctor & PA were good and staff is friendly, general service and building are sub-par. Phone is not answered all the time and they do not accept online payments when they send bills. I was a new patient and asked for an annual appointment. I was not told that it would be billed on my insurance as 'new patient 30 minutes' so it was not covered and resulted in a headache, with them refusing to change the description to what it should be. Hampstead building is old and offices/rooms are in need of updates. At the very least, update the brass (likely germy) doorknob on the front that you have to lock when you leave to a push door or something. I will not be going back, especially because the Dr. I saw left the practice within a month after I went anyway."
