"Poor communication with parents. Staff witnessed my child struggle for a month and never contacted me until the end. When they saw me drop him off and pick him up they never transparently communicated that he was having issues.They never tried to put plan in place for my child or help my child.. nor did they give me time too. i was told my child could enrolled on January8. But Come enrollment day there was issues with the director who looking back never really wanted enroll my child in the first place. The staff just threw him in any class. Without ensuring the class was appropriate for him.They didn't give him time to adjust to the change of pace or new environment or structure. Had i been a nurse or doctor at rex my child would not have be slighted or over looked. They would have took the time to document and communicate either verbally or written. This Daycare is not inclusive especially if you have hyper 2 year old. Staff isnt staff enough to keep children engaged throughout the day. Poorly trained staff. They are more like a babysitting service and not an actual daycare service for children due to the lack of the professional aspect. Ratios are unmanageable. There wasn’t adequate assessments my child needs or adequate documentation of issues they claim they were having with my child. And nothing was communicated to me in a timely manner. We started January 8. I didn't get a phone call in regards to my child till January 30. I kept him home voluntarily January 31. Dropped him of at 630 February 1st. I circle back to the day care at 8am to make sure every thing was ok. Was told he was fine. 2 hours later the director calls me to tell my 2 year old can't return. Which is the first phone conversation the director took the time to have. My child isn't a perfect child but he's been in another daycare with no issue. At the other daycare the class sizes was much smaller and they kept the kids engaged throughout the day. We changed due to the change in pricing. My biggest issue is that if he was struggling as much as they expressed there should have documentation, communication and if need be actions to put a plan into place and there was none. Highly unprofessional. If my child needed more support or aba therapy i could have provided it but there was not communication and nor were they interested in giving me time obtain supportive resource. I was told he couldn't come back unless i got a professional to be one on one with him but when i went to pick him up everything was packed up. I didn't even get time to aquire the one on one.."
