"My young grandson was referred by his pediatrician for a X-ray. Then male radiology tech was very unpleasant, very hurried, had zero patience, nor child friendly. Also dug his fingernails into my grandsons legs. Not Necessary!!!! I’ve worked with children for 38 yrs. I was trained each year with updated methods & always implemented appropriate ways of handling a child. I’ve also previously worked at a pediatrician’s office and hospitals. Yes, I have reported this to the patient advocate. In which it will be investigated. I hope they will follow through with the appropriate measures."
"I brought my friend into the ER who was having a possible stroke. They quickly took her back and allowed me to come as well. They wasted no time getting her help and running tests. She was admitted and when I asked where the cafeteria was, the admitting doctor himself walked me down to show me where it was and chit chatted with me all the way there. He had the best bedside manners with my friend I’ve ever seen and seemed very knowledgeable about her situation. Once she was assigned a room, since she had to go have another test, a polite security guard helped me find her room and we had a pleasant conversation all the way there as well. The nurses were so nice and her night nurse went out of her way to be sure I had a better chair to sleep in. They also helped my friend moving forward with resources she would need for her future care. In a scary moment it was comforting to have such excellent care and service."
"If you want to be treated like prisoner for no reason go here. My daughter went in for uti sepsis She also Addisons and needs an emergency shot so I'll called to ask her to put it up where I know where it's was jus in jus in case She laid it later on so she liad it down on the bed putting it in her purse. Nurse comes isk why are you self injecting that. She said I'm not I'm laying it the needle is secured medication still in. She took it and would not consult in her endo dr. So no my daughter can't get pain meds Ect. Also no privacy"
"I went to the ER because I had been fighting for days to get my sugar up and keep it up. They admitted me into CCU. The nurses were absolutely wonderful, especially Meredith. And the dr came in and asked a few questions, which led to more tests. He was very thorough. All in all I have no complaints. I mean even the food was good. When you have to eat heart healthy and diabetic friendly meals, that is rare. I was really pampered."
"I want to say thank you to the entire staff of Prisma Health Baptist Easley Hospital. I arrived at your hospital through the emergency room and was taking care of all by the most amazing group of people though out my journey, every one from check in to the surgical ward. The entire staff should be applauded for their kindness, and their ability to make someone who is scared, feel like family. They were able to calm me down and make me feel so cared for. I have never met more sweet people in one place than those who took care of me. I feel truly blessed to have had my life in your hands."
