"Drive to Raleigh, Sanford, Aberdeen, anywhere but here. The most basic prescriptions get screwed up and take ridiculously long to get filled. I’m on my sixth phone call to them today and have been put on hold for 9-10 minutes at a time. Getting a prescription from here is like picking up a part-time job."
"Terrible pharmacy experience. If you have Tricare (primary or secondary), just find someplace else. They hate running Tricare (which all Tricare beneficiaries know is challenging, but we don't make the rules), so they refuse to run it till you show up -- if they've even filled the script. And when you do show, the techs will huff and roll their eyes when they ask if you have Tricare. We've gotten the wrong number of meds dispensed, waited days for common prescription meds (not in a shortage) to come in, and deal with dismissive and/or rude techs. Services range from lazy to downright dangerous. And while I'm aware of the area age demographic, don't expect them to stock any children's medications. I grew up using Walgreens in the Illinois area, and this place is an embarrassment to the Walgreens name."
"Honestly the most ridiculous pharmacy experience I’ve ever been through. Every time that I go, it takes no less than half an hour (usually more) for me to pick up my prescription that’s ready. There’s probably 6 pharmacy techs back there and only one poor person who has to run back and forth between the regular registers and the drive through. And good luck if you have any questions about your prescriptions, no one will be available to answer. I’m sitting in line now as I write this, and I will be transferring my prescription to a local pharmacy instead. This place has absolutely rocketed towards the ground since Walgreens took over."
"My wife went into Walgreens today to pick up a few items. When she was checking out the bill total was $16.36. She started to hand the cashier a $20.00 bill and stated to hold up that she would give her the $.36 so she could get $4.00 back. The cashier took the money but only gave my wife $3.64 back. My wife explained that she gave her the change but the cashier said "no ma'am, you were suppose to get $3.64 back." I explained that she had been given $20.36 and if you subtract $16.36 from that it equals $4.00. The young lady looked confused so I suggested she contact the manager on duty. When the manager came up front the cashier told her that she had entered the wrong amount for the purchase. After explaining the amount given to the cashier for the purchase the manager gave my wife four one dollar bills one at a time by jerking them like they were sticking together. Neither apologized to my wife. I kind of felt sorry for the cashier because she seems to be a victim of the new math being taught. However, I expected better from the manager on duty who was very rude in the way she gave my wife her money back and who should have set a better example for her employees by apologizing to the customer for the errror."
