"Children of America is one of the best. Offering a stellar curriculum, fun family events they even have parent date night option every month. Amber Pride porter the assistant director is immaculate, she always eager to help with a warm bright smile on her face. Ms. Stephanie welcomed us to the COA family and we’ve been pleased ever since. Some of our favorite teachers are Ms. Brittney , and Ms. Lois they're all loving and supportive teachers and directors. Ms. Tiffany provides the best meals for all of the children my daughter Ayla is always pleased."
"This place is a disaster, my grandbaby stays sick, can't come to school and miss days and then they send out eviction notices to parent in the middle of their work day to say come pick up your child it you're a day late paying, first off if y'all sanitize your facility everyday, maybe the kids won't be as sick 2 if the child can't attend for a week why would you expect an payment if services isn't received, I'm thinking about stopping my job and keeping my grandbaby myself. Please review this place thoroughly very upset grandparent."
"0 stars should be an option. It would be an understatement to say that my experience with this facility has been negative. My daughter joined in December 2022, and I've noticed that she was constantly sick since she started at this facility, which was never the case before. Because of this, she was absent every other week for a while. I discovered that the establishment lacked a procedure for sanitizing toys after a child had put them in their mouth. I've been trying for a while to get her into another daycare. But no one had the space for her. My daughter's last day is September 29. Because of this, I did not pay the registration fee which is due sometime in September. The assistant director Ms. Amber advised me that if I put my withdrawal in, the cost would be waived, and the account would be noted. However, something changed and she became very unprofessional and harassing. I dropped my daughter off at the facility and as I left Ms. Amber Pride was running after me with my child in hand standing in front of my almost moving car, so that I could not leave. Yelling "She cannot be here" I’m not sure what protocol/ procedures they have in place but I’m sure running after a parent should not be one of them nor is it safe. I made my payment for the week of 9/18 through 9/22. So putting my child in danger over a $150 registration fee for a school year my child will not be attending is ridiculous. I have had 3 staff members apologize to me for Mrs. Amber's actions. Her behavior and attitude was unacceptable. Also, this facility cannot keep a teacher! In my daughters 9 months of being there she has had maybe 5 different teachers. The new director Mrs. Stephanie is the only reason my child lasted this long. She made some changes and she actually cares about the kids and not just the money! This establishment needs friendly and professional staff and Mrs. Amber should not be at the front desk as she do not know how to talk to people. It's not what you say it's how you say it and her delivery has always been an issue. So do yourself and your child a favor and look elsewhere for childcare. 0 out of 10. I DO NOT RECOMMEND! DO NOT LET YOUR CHILD ATTEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT. They have so many open cases on them with the NCDHHS! Signed, An angry mother!"
"This center is Terrible. My child has attended this center since April of 2020 and I’m very unpleased with the services provided. Due to the pandemic and his previous school closing I had to find another center who was accepting children for essential workers. He started the NC Pre k program there in August which I have no complaints about but the daycare is horrible! They do not communicate well with families and very unorganized. They give misleading information and very inconsiderate and inconvenience to families. All they care about is their money! Since we started they have had two directors. Some of the staff that I met are very welcoming and polite. I love Mrs Trina. She cares about the kids and families and does her best to make sure you are satisfied. Other then that I wouldn’t recommend daycare services. Only the PreK program I recommend. Mrs Jackson is awesome. Very well organized when it comes to the curriculum and the kids academic progress."
