"Unlike Nancy M, who was wise in the way of the Luxardo, I fell victim to the grand cocktail cherry scandal and paid $45 (with tax) for a product that should never break $30. I reached out to the store for clarity with the hope that they would tell me it was an error, but they dug in the proverbial heels and told me that prices of cherries skyrocketed during the pandemic and that their small footprint wouldn't allow for better sourcing. I hope Assorted Table is basking in the $15 victory by setting up an Amazon account and using my free money to source cherries at $17 a jar, the current rate for a 3-pack on everyone's favorite online monopolist. This way, the next Jeff or Nancy, the lonely souls who simply want a better Last Word and can't go elsewhere, won't get taken to the cleaners."
