"As soon as I arrived to the emergency department I was given the best care anyone can ask for. I received compassionate and time efficient care starting with my triage nurse Lisa and my bedside nurses Nicole, Mikayla, and Cullen. All of the nurses were very knowledgeable and passionate giving me the care I needed. Dr Gupta took time with me explaining everything and did a very thorough work up. The other department’s staff were great as well. I will always choice this emergency department and recommend this emergency department for any care that one may need in the future. "I cannot express enough how fabulous Newport Medical Center was for my husband. He went into the ER and was brought in immediately. Lisa and Kim took great care of him! Lisa made it so easy for both him and me. He never had to ask for anything because she was so on top of it. Dr. Trent was super knowledgeable and made sure my husband got the right treatment. Once we were admitted to the hospital, he had Whitney as a nurse who was just as sweet. Jaclyn was his nurse for two days; we cannot say enough about her! She, too, was on top of everything and explained things so well! Dr. Matthews was a great surgeon and explained everything to me and him. The anesthesiologist came in and explained as well as answered questions. Likewise, the OR nurse came in and discussed things with us. Furthermore, there were hospital staff coming through ensuring we were getting the very best care. I am absolutely pleased with our unexpected visit and stay at Newport Medical Center!!"

"Dr Trent and Jess were amazing. The first doctor to actually continue to update us about the situation. He was very kind and assisted my mother’s needs with great care. Jess, her nurse. Continued to check in on her, consistently monitor her vitals, and even made her smile and laugh through a difficult situation. Jess is an amazing nurse and so good at her job. The ER is lucky to have someone like this working there. So very happy with our experience today. Thank you"
