"Traveling from MN we chose this church as we were happy with the beliefs being displayed on the website. We also enjoyed the scriptural style of preaching as he used texts from multiple books. Sadly, they dont actually tell you the right service times on their website as there is no service starting at 12:15. The church needs to clarify website details if they want visitors to worship with them. We arrived late and only heard the second half of the sermon. Pastor preached on throwing out earthly material things and focusing your life on the Gospel (although we only briefly actually heard the Gospel i.e. he said "Jesus died for us" once at the end). Maybe he preached the Gospel earlier in the service, but we didnt get to hear it."

"We have 3 children at the school. All are kids love this place and we know that our children are loved there as well. If God is the most important thing in your life than this school is where you want your children.(if you live in South Myrtle Beach) We see our kids grow closer to Jesus every year. UPDATE: Calvary is even better after 6 years from my original review. We now have 4 children at the School and my oldest is graduating in the spring. We could not have made a better decision than to have him here the last 13 years."

"We moved to the Myrtle Beach area about two years ago. One of our priorities was finding a good Bible-believing, Bible-preaching church. After visiting quite a few local churches, it didn’t take long to settle on Calvary Bible Church. We were doubly excited to see that they had a Christian school as well. Both Mark Roland (the principal as well as one of the church pastors) and Burton Bosworth (church pastor) are truly men of God who exemplify Biblical standards for leadership in all areas of their lives. They pour their hearts into the ministries of both the church and the Christian school. Their standards are above reproach. We thank the Lord for these two men and their families who tirelessly devote their lives to this ministry. When you see the quality of the graduates that come out of this school and see the colleges wanting these students for their rankings, you will see why Calvary comes so highly recommended. "Our child has been attending Calvary Christian School since K-5. He is now a Junior with just one more year until graduation. Boy that time has gone by so quickly! When he started at Calvary we had no idea how long he would be able to stay. As time passed, we realized how important it was for him to stay & God provided a way for this to happen. The tuition is extremely affordable. Especially for the education he is receiving. Every staff member deeply cares about him, his education & our entire family.
