"Great school."
"There is a secretary that is extremely rude and never tries to accommodate anyone needs. She needs to be fired or moved into another position that doesn't require people skills. However, there is one secretary which is AWESOME. It is so apparent who it is that the name isn't needed. My son is in 6th grade and the teachers seem alright...some are really good though. All in all, the school as a whole isn't terrible just that ONE SECRETARY!!! I don't know her name but I know you would know who she is once you meet her."
"Good people, great 8th grade science teacher!"
"I fill bad leaving to go to nbhs that school is really good all the teacher do is try to help you and I thank them"
"THIS IS A HORRIBLE SCHOOL. If you are thinking of moving to Leland because of the lower cost of living, you might want to reconsider. I have moved around a lot and been to many schools, but this one is by far the worst!! I spent all three years at LMS and I recently moved to South Carolina and started high school. LMS DID NOT prepare me for high school whatsoever, and I'm an A student. The teachers are bad and the students are disrespectful to everyone. The office faculty is EXTREMELY rude. I was getting threatened and bullied by a student who had previously been suspended several times, and when I wrote an incident report on him the SRO said he would handle it, but it never got handled. The kid wasn't punished in any way. Testing scores as a school are extremely low, and we do not have many resources to use for learning. I took and passed 2 high school classes at this school, and when I moved to South Carolina, they couldn't even give me credit for it because this school is just so screwed up. At my new school, every student gets an iPad, and classes are MUCH more organized. No one at this school has ANY class, and they just don't care or try to be successful. When I was in 6th grade, we had 3 BOMB THREATS IN ONE WEEK, which caused us to have to stand outside in 30 degree weather for an hour. People at this school are just so ignorant, PLEASE don't send your child here."
