"Every time I’ve ever needed to get in touch with the pharmacy staff I’ve sat on hold waiting for someone to pick up 10+ minutes. Never answer the phone ever. Horrible"
"I wasn't going to post a public review at first but after meeting with my Dr today that was involved with this and learning more details I feel others need to be aware. -I am prescribed a medication that is an Extended Release formula. Walgreens have filled this many times for me. I get it refilled monthly. On my latest refill I took it for about 2 weeks and noticed I was very tired through the day and night, little energy, and other side effects. I decided to check all of my medication bottles and noticed that Walgreens had mistakenly given me the standard release form of this medication and not the Extended release that I am supposed to get. I called the pharmacy and the girl told me to bring it in and exchange it. I did so the following day and was told I could pick up the correct medication later that day and to keep the wrong ones until the exchange. I went back that evening and a different woman was working drive thru. She was wasn't very friendly at all, appeard to be annoyed by everyone and everything. I told her I was there to EXCHANGE my meds because I was given the wrong form and I was picking up the correct form. She asked me for ID and that was it. The pharmacist did whatever was needed in the computer for the transaction and gave her the meds to give to me. It was only then that she asked if I had the wrong ones to give back and I showed her the bottle that I had in my hand the entire time. I gave them to her through the drive thru drawer. She then asked me, in a very snarky and rude tone, "when were you planning on telling me that you had the meds to give back to me?" Basically implying that I was trying to withhold the meds. When I first drove up I told her I was there to EXCHANGE meds so you would think she would do her job and ask for the meds I am exchanging. Not everyone who takes a controlled substance is abusing them and I take great offense when accusations and implications of that are thrown at me. I have dealt with this woman before and she has always had an attitude and just seems like she's just a miserable person and has no customer service skills. Well today at my doctor's appointment this topic got brought up by my prescribing doctor and she told me the pharmacist called her to verify and admitted they had "made a boo boo" (direct quote) and laughed it off like it was nothing. They told my doctor they had caught the error, which is completely false. I am the one who caught the mistake and called the pharmacy about it. I want to make people aware to check your meds and make sure the medication, formula and dosages are correct and to count them as well. They are known to short people their meds and when you call for a refill they say it's too early to refill. They basically accuse you of abusing your meds without actually saying it. Not everyone at this location is like this, some of the employees are very nice and helpful. It's too bad the few bads ones ruin it for the rest. Edit. August....They messed up my meds again for the 2nd time giving me regular release instead of Extended release. This time I caught it before I left the pharmacy. Someone needs to get this pharmacy in line. There's no excuse for the mistakes and they are dangerous. I've heard them say things like they have don't make the laws but they have to follow them when it comes to controlled substances yet here they are filling them with the wrong type or wrong dosage. 12/22/2023 Yet again more issues with getting my medication refilled and nasty attitude from a tech named Diamond. Not only to me but to other customers that were in line as well. This lady needs to learn customer service skills or find a new job."
"Never consistent on anything, staff turnovers, long waits etc...typical large pharmacy issues. Like everything in America that has been taken over by big businesses, you get no personal care or concern, just big money, long waits, mistakes and disfunction. I don't blame the employees , it's the greedy owners and Big Pharma ."
"My family has been using this location for a while now and in the staff and pharmacist have always been so great about taking care of all of my family’s medication needs. Aaron specifically is the best pharmacist I have ever dealt with. He has always gone out of his way to help and take care any questions and issues that arise with our medications when my family has been sick. He deserves 6 stars!"
"My Rx now 16 days late,no answer on the phones despite 3+ hrs of waiting on hold, and completely unprofessional staff..,every single month theres an issue here, and I was told "doesnt matter what the online says, dont listen to that" by the pharmacist!! I watched the girl behind the counter just straight up hang the phone up over and over again on callers, this CANT be allowed! Worst.pharmacy.ever. Losing work to go there in person today so they can't ignore me..will update."
