Black Mountain Montessori School is a North Carolina Montessori school located at 101 Carver Avenue in Black Mountain, serving the Asheville area. We offer in-person learning for children ages 2.5-6 in our Children's House Preschool & Kindergarten program, as well as for elementary students in grades 1-6. Our highly qualified team of educators is dedicated to providing a safe, joyful, and holistic learning environment where children are encouraged to reach their highest potential.
Admissions for the 2024/2025 school year will open for new students on February 26, 2024. Before applying, we invite prospective families to take a tour of our school. We host weekly parent tours and encourage you to sign up at the bottom of our website. At Black Mountain Montessori, we focus on individualized education and nurturing key characteristics for success in the 21st century, such as confidence, intrinsic motivation, and compassion.
