Reviews of William R. High, D.M.D, P.C
"Edit 11/22/2018 Upgraded to 3 stars from 2 stars. All of my charges were waived for the inconvenience. They admitted the mistake, apologized and made it right. We brought in two children to have their lip/tongue ties looked at. Very nice facility, a lot of care was put into decorating and making the place feel homey and comfortable. Dr. Picket was very friendly and helpful as well. However..we had major issues that can not be overlooked. #1. We sent in payment for our appointment, and it was mistakenly applied to the wrong account. This is usually not a big deal, but..we received a letter threatening legal action, as well as the admin staff was very rude with my wife. They accused her of not being honest, told her she needed to just "pay her bills" ect.. When I called to speak with someone, I was able to resolve it. They admitted that the payment was received and was mistakenly applied to the wrong account... but still no apology or anything. Just doesn't seem very professional. #2. We were charged for having a tongue and lip tie snipping on my daughter, however, it was at Dr. Pickett's advice that we only have the lip tie snipped. With that said, we were billed for the tongue and lip and again, when we called to get clarity, the admin staff was very rude with my wife and accused her of not being honest. They told her that Dr. Pickett had both procedures in his notes and that is why we were billed for it. At this point, this has still not been resolved. By no means am I attempting to smear this office or their employees, I simply am writing an honest review of my experience and hoping that others do no have similar issues during their visit."
"They don't let you know up front what their pricing is. You go for a $300 procedure and then they charge an extra $200 on top of it knowing that you have to pay out of pocket because they won't even bother billing your insurance . It would have been much better of they had let us know about the extra charges when they were explaining about the reason they wouldn't bill my insurance company. They were nice and it was a nice office but there is a BIG difference paying out of pocket $500 vs $300. No thank you."
"They were awesome. The waiting area is nice and cozy and the front desk workers were so kind. Dr. Pickett was so friendly and funny. They made me so comfortable and relaxed. The surgery lasted maybe 10 minutes and I was in and out in under and hour. They were awesome and I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs oral surgery."
"The office atmosphere is beautiful, clean, and relaxing. The girls behind the desk are so friendly and helpful. And William High set down with me, and although the procedure wasn't done that I was anticipating, he wasn't rushed by any means, he was happy to just talk and explain what is going on, and before he would continue, he wanted to review some lab work. He said it was an ethical decision because my safety was his priority, and most likely, I'll be going back in the next few weeks to finish what needs to be done."
"My first visit with the oral surgeon Dr. Pickett was the best experience I've had with a dentist in 48 years. The office was nice and well run with a courteous staff. From the minute I walked in to the minute I left I was well taken care of. I found Dr. Pickett to be a super nice and personable guy. Never once did they try to upsell other services nor did I feel they tried to overcharge for the service they offered. Let's face it, dentists are expensive but I was pleasantly surprise that I could afford the visit and have no regrets, it was money well spent. Surgery was quick and pain free, this is a plus at any dentist office."
