"Front desk was very unhelpful with check-in and the whole process took 40 mins when it could've taken 10. The xray tech was rude and let me know I would get my xrays back in 2-3 days. I didnt get them back for 6 days and I had to reach out multiple times. Dont waste your time here."
"Watch out for scheduling. Apparently just checking the recent review now, it is an ongoing issue. Long story-I used to come here for my routine mammogram and at that time, this Cardinal Points Imaging office was still part of the Raleigh Radiology (recommended by my Primary Dr), and this location was closest to me. Everything was fine and works. Last year the result showed some minor things which I experienced a few years ago and it was nothing after checking every 6 months (recommended by them) and it turned out to be fine. So again, now they wanted me to come back in 6 months and since it will be diagnostic instead of screening, I will have to pay out of pocket due to deductible. So I did not think it was necessary and this year went with another vendor, and nothing was found. Great! However, I recently received an email about an upcoming appointment stating that I have an appointment which I DID NOT schedule at all. Good thing I just came back in town and caught this in time, otherwise, I would definitely miss this appointment that I never scheduled for and will be probably charged for a fee. BE AWARE of scheduling. All of the rest of the staff seems friendly and professional though in the past. Make sure you tell them to not schedule anything in the future when you just want to come in once for a checkup or if you want to schedule a time that actually works for you with your knowledge. :-D"
"As a patient, you should know what you are getting into, and with this provider, the operative word is “BEWARE.” Hopefully, you are reading this before your appointment, and this review helps you make an informed decision about your imaging provider. I learned the hard way that they are likely to overbill by hundreds of dollars and that obtaining a refund is not a straightforward process and takes forever. When I scheduled my MRI appointment in January, I was told the billing department would call me before the appointment to let me know what my payment portion would be. That call never came. On the day of my appointment, the person at the front desk told me I had to pay $500, the full deductible. Obviously, when you are actually in their office, you don’t exactly have the option of going elsewhere to get your imaging done or not paying the amount they are telling you to pay. Once my insurance processed the claim for that day, I owed only $60. It should be easy to get the money back, right? At this point, they have had my money for almost a month. So, I gave them a call. BTW, there is no local person or office to handle billing questions. Their billing office is located in Tennessee. Once I got to speak to live people, I was told several different things, ranging from “I need to open an investigation before we can pay this money back to you” to “I am so sorry, but no management team member is available to speak to you now; they will call you in the next 24-48 business hours.” I was also told that they never filed a claim with my insurance for an x-ray I had done earlier in January and that they simply used some of the money I paid for the MRI to cover the X-ray claim instead of filing it with the insurance company! What?! They had no explanation as to why the X-ray claim was never sent to the insurance, and while I was speaking to one of the billing representatives, she filed that claim. Here is the cherry on top of their billing cake: the rep also told me they cannot issue the $440 refund until billing for all outstanding claims is processed! She told me this processing would take 3-4 weeks, so another month for them to hang on to the money. I was also told that they could not email me to document that they opened an investigation or that I even placed a call. Pretty convenient policies that allow them to keep your money for as long as possible while also wasting a maximum of your time. While waiting for my MRI, I watched the front desk person collect full deductible amounts from various patients who came to their office that day. The amounts collected were not trivial. I doubt other patients are getting their refunds any faster. Needless to say, my family and I won’t be coming back to this company for any additional imaging."
"I went to my appointment 15 minutes early. There was no point in that. I was in and out of the place in less time than it takes to fill out a medical form. The technology is remarkable and remarkably fast. The office was clean and the staff was friendly. Would recommend."
"Absolutely perfect patient care!!! Highly recommend this facility for radiology. Becky at front desk was very nice, professional and welcoming. Also my radiologist tech Raqiya was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional."
