"Came for the festival and what a great time had by all! Beautiful weather to top it all off!"
"Free but appreciates donations. Went to see the museum here on the Catawba Indian Reservation. Self-guided, lots of information. Had fun. Recommend!"
"Cool place to visit but some of the displays are not made with authentic materials and stuff needs to be dusted! Some displays have Cobwebs and dust."
"Such potential. Brought friends from out of town to learn about the Catawba Indians from SC/NC. The museum outside was off-putting (unkept). Staff was excellent. The history side was sparse and no handouts to help you long the way. The museum shop was full of China knock offs and not much authentic for sale. Asked for trail map they didn't have one. So we headed to the Catawba river. Trail and stops not maintained and at the river end it was overgrown. I believe they have lack of funds, they need help maybe a boy scout troop can help with the trail as one of their projects. Still you should go but keep your expectations low."
"I learned a lot here. The lady at the gift shop was kind, smart, and understanding. The trail was beautiful and simple for inexperienced hikers. It was very peaceful with short stops to read information."
