"We have been with Travelers for homeowners insurance for several years. Never filed a claim. Paid for a year of homeowners at the beginning of November and printed the policy to keep on file at home. Yesterday we received a check for the full amount paid, said we were cancelled and no reason stated but we could call if we had questions. So, now we have been without homeowners insurance unknowingly for 30 days and have to wait to have our information processed throgh another insurance company. Thanks Travelers- you SUCK. Do not get homeowners through this company."

"Phone them to be very rude and disrespectful. Pay them in full for an entire year just for them to refund my money two months later, with no proper paperwork mail to me spoke with them on the phone. They have no humanity whatsoever even after jumping through their fire hoops I’m in limbo Thanks for nothing. Avoid travelers for homeowners insurance I will update this review if things go well, and they become a bit more human So here’s an update spent an hour on the phone today trying And fix what travelers wants done spent $3500 removing trees sent pictures and receive nothing back from them. They asked me to also fix a few tiles on the side of the house which I’m in the process of doing would not give me an extension and expect me to get it all done in seven days. Spoke with a woman named Laura in resolution I you never have to deal with her as she resolves nothing, and does not care at all about the customer"

"A insurance company that is happy to take your money, until it's actually time to insure you. Then they drop you like a bad habit even out of the blue without any care whatsoever. Utterly shameful and it's why insurance companies have a bad name to begin with. They exist for the profits, not for the people whom they serve."
