"There was a log blocking the road, so we had to walk an extra mile to and from the hiking trail. It was worth the walk, and we got to see 4 waterfalls. The trail split into 2 paths, 1 fall on the left, and 3 falls on the right. Because it was rain from yesterday to today. The falls were more impressive today."
"Easily our favorite waterfall in the upstate. The trails are well marked leaving you with two waterfall trails. The first waterfall is about 15 minutes from the parking lot with plenty of viewing space. We tried to swim in it however it is far too rocky. I’d recommend wearing shoes like some of the other hikers were doing. The second waterfall is a bit more strenuous with a ladder or two that you have to climb down. I would not recommend this to those who are physically challenged. However if this is for you, it is sheer magic. You are transported to another world. My husband and I were baffled that we were still in South Carolina. The water was crisp and clean and refreshing. The waterfall itself is a sight to see. You can pack a lunch and easily spend the day here or check out the bbq that’s right down the trail! It’s pretty good!"
"Due to lack of rain the falls were running about 35%...but we'll worth the trip. See pix for trail shape..Only curiosity was one ladder stair made with ROUND POLES for steps...looks iffy if it gets wet...2 good viewing platforms for good views, but trees in both places are sorta in the way of a Great picture. Check out the pix.."
"Stunningly beautiful! First Fall is accessable by most people regardless of age. The second falls is also pretty easy to get to. The third falls, the bottom falls, is definitely Not a hike I'd bring my 70 year old Mom on but was not a difficult hike for us 40 somethings and our 20 somethings just flew through it. Nice spot for a dip on those hotter days at the bottom falls. A gorgeous little gem, not quite so hidden anymore.."
"Great place to hike. There is a fork where you must make a choice at the day camp area. Go right? Go left? Left is a very high falls that is impressive and easy to get to. Right is a massive falls, three overlook platforms to get great pictures, and a daring hike for those who can move well. Steep stairs and narrow passes make for a slightly challenging hike. Right is not for those how are mobility challenged. Over all a great place, clean, nice and beautiful views."
