Reviews of Winter Lights
"Absolutely magical and whimsical! It's the best light show I've been to. I loved the mushrooms, butterflies, deer and the giant caterpillar! There was even an open fire with a s'mores station. The gift shop had a great selection of jewelry and cool toys for children. I've been to other exhibits at this arboretum and they never disappoint!"
"Spectacular holiday lights as usual. They have new displays for 2023 along with an additional cocoa shack. Crowds ebb and flow so even if you don't like crowds, there are areas with less people and then you can return after it thins out. Warm fires and nice gift shops. Highly recommend this become a holiday tradition for your family."
"This is a go at your own pace walk-through adventure. There are lots of new displays for 2023. You could come here many times and find something you missed every visit. There are plenty of places to sit and enjoy the lights or you can walk the entire time you are here. There are some outdoor stairs/ramp choices, but the stairs and ramps are not always side by side. If you like Christmas lights, you will not be disappointed. Walking through lights is a completely different experience than driving through them."
"We decided to visit this attraction while visiting Asheville and cost $55/car. It was a good decision as the attraction was beautiful. One of the best winter light I had visited. I love the musical light with the christmas tree light as background. With the price, it is worth the money."
"Well organized and staffed by the nicest folks. You can spend a good hour here getting in the Christmas spirit. Don't forget to get a hot cocoa and an apple cider to take with you on your stroll through the lights. Cost is per car, and really, I really recommend you get tickets in advance."
