"I took my boyfriend out to Osteria G last night for his birthday and we both loved it! It was absolutely delicious and I his jaw dropped at the first bite. He had the grandpas chicken and said it was the best chicken hed ever had in his life. And the tri color salad was delicious, both of us were practically licking the plates. The tiramisu that Joe gave us with a sparkler for my boyfriend’s birthday both looked and tasted amazing! Great service and the ambiance was lovely, welcoming, and sophisticated."
"Great spot in the suburbs. My husband and I mainly travel into Raleigh when we want a good meal. However, Osteria G is the only restaurant outside of Raleigh that can rival any of the Italian restaurants in the city. The food is amazing and I always look forward to the specials. Their wine list by the glass is large and impressive and not filled with your run of the mill or typical wines by the glass you often see in many restaurants. Their staff is so friendly and welcoming. We really love this place and love that we have an option here in the suburbs. We don't even bother going to any other restaurants outside of Raleigh other than this one. Kudos to a great job!"
"Food is expensive, but excellent. Definitely a fine dining experience. The Short Rib, in particular, is outstanding and I could eat it day and night. Can be difficult to get a table and I highly recommend a reservation. But the ambience is pleasant and we always enjoy the experience."
"Met up with friends in Holly Springs at Osteria G for dinner. Promply seated and the service staff kicked in. Wow!! There is a fine line between pushy and attentive, and we were right there. Myriad staff circled throughout the evening, ordering, serving, clearing, and asking if we were satisfied or needed something more. Seing no less than 5 different staff members during our meal. The food was certainly the highlight of the evening as our appetizers and meals were splendidly prepared and tasted great. The ambiance was good, and the atmosphere was upbeat. The hip-hop music was a bit loud and out of place in an Italian restaurant."
