"Should have read the reviews before letting them touch me. Bad piercing experience. The ladies were super sweet so I will give them that but don’t let them pierce anything go to a professional. Ended having a piercing gun stuck in my nose and had to have it ripped out. Later causing scarring and an infection. Part of my cartilage also busted due to the piercing gun and had to seek urgent care the following day for that. Super disappointed in the way corporate handled this situation with me and after doing so much research post it seems that I was yet just another victim of their piercing scam."

"Great jewelry selection however I do not recommend coming here for piercings. When you get your ears pierced with a gun you are shooting the jewelry into your ear rather than creating a hole and inserting the jewelry. The piercing gun causes trauma to the ear and makes it more likely to get infected and produce scar tissue. Also when I got my ears pierced here the first time they got infected. And you thought I would’ve learned but for sake of convenience I came here for my second lobes where they pierced them so crookedly that someone could come and rip one of the earrings out easily if they wanted to. You cannot tell me that that’s even. Also now that I notice this they also did my first lobes crooked too. This isn’t a coincidence. Take your kids/or yourself to a professional piercer. I personally recommend Tattoo Therapy or Art Attack."

"Ok so here's the skinny...I as an adult mom in her mid 30s went in to the store as I pushed my baby in his stroller just to look around because, well, why not? I used to frequent this store when I was a kid in the 90s so it was a kinda nostalgic visit. I did end up purchasing some new ear studs from the piercing counter and a few nail items to use. Overpriced as usual because of where I chose to shop. I figured out some things.. 1) If you walk in to a tween/teen store as an older woman you just feel really out of place. Even with the change of atmosphere to make it more modern. Just nope. (I'm coming back to shop TJMaxx) 2) The sales teen was nice to a point and very informative about all the products but still had that "omg are you stupid" attitude in her voice. It was like she was trying to make nice and a sale but wondering why I was there. (At that point so was I). She seemed annoyed that I purchased stainless steel studs instead of the more expensive white gold ones. Let's just say kids can pull and pick at your jewelry and I can't guarantee that those plastic rocks will stay in the setting. 3) *sigh*..I'll just say it. The WOKENESS that is targeted towards our children is very prevalent in that store. (That is a situation with corporate, not the store associates.) After seeing it all I'm relieved I'm a mom of just boys and they will not be frequenting that store. Neither will I anymore. It was an OK experience but I'm not interested in going back. Not even with kids."

"My daughter and I had a girls day, so we decided to get her ears pierced! We went to Claire's and these two girls in the picture were Amazing. They gave the best customer service, they were so patient, and encouraging with my 6 year old. On top of that they worked well together as a team. We had the best experience for a day that my daughter will have as a memory for a lifetime and I am so thankful! Thank you ladies!!"
