Shuford Recreation Center

"Barely have any equipment for the gym and there’s always that one staff member that is delicate about everything. I’ve been to there gym couple of times since there gym is empty barely any people and can get the privacy but every time I close the door to the gym that one staff comes to open it and has said stuff about how I use the equipment. If the door wasn’t allowed shut why offer it to other people that have been in the gym and it’s not allowed it I do it. Seems a little off to me I feel like that one staff probably has a problem and I mean it’s a pubic gym I feel like you should be a little more polite and if the door wasn’t allowed shut then put a sign on the door but it seems weird to me how other people were offered to have the door shut or closed it was up to them but idk if it’s happened to others but they need to talk to there staff and if there’s rules that equipment needs to be used current ways or door needs to be opened then have a sign be put up if not then talk to there staff about not being rude or weird towards current people! I only go to it for the privacy but apparently I can’t even exercise in peace I got a staff member breathing down my neck that they gonna come and say something about the damn door or the way I use the damn equipment"

"Great pool area and basketball courts. A lot of work has been done the past few years and jt has become a very nice place for athletics and all around recreational activities!"

"Last week me and my grandmother went their to cool of and relax and we did that and , everyone was nice the staff was nice to us they redid the , snack and drink place it was you get what you want by your self type thing but now the biult a bar there so some one is there to get your items and you pay them now take care have a happy summer everyone"

"The bathrooms are always locked no matter what time of day. My son used the bathroom in himself causing him to be upset because of this. He's autistic and doesn't give up easily on himself until that day. I can't believe y'all kick the bathroom in a public place like that!"
