"I went to this location on 11/1, around 8pm. At first, the lady at the register was friendly when I walked in. I was asked for an ID, which is totally fine, and I discovered that I did not have my ID. I was ok with her not selling me the liquor since I did not have my ID. I have grown up in Haywood County, 27 years, and she told me that she wouldn't sell to me because she didn't recognize me, not because I looked underage."

"The staff are always very friendly and helpful. The store is stocked well, clean, and bright. This is one of my favorite ABC stores in Western North Carolina."

"Called to inquire about Allocated Bourbon and Store Picks/Barrel Picks. The lady on the phone was less than helpful and very uninterested in our conversation. Although this location was recommended for me by a fellow bourbon enthusiast - I'm going with my gut and steering clear of this location. I don't often leave a negative review, but felt the owner/management could benefit from reading this. Incident was 11/4/22 around 10am. Update: In response to the reply on my review - I find it telling that you suggest that its best for me, to come in the store, to get info about store picks. That statement is pretty much a direct reflection of the lack of customer service I'm referring to in my original review. If it's a nuisance to answer the phone and talk about the products offered at this location, then maybe the issue isn't the size of the store or bourbon availability at all!"
