The kids have plenty of activity opportunities and also learn Bible verses and how they can be applied to their lives. Wonderful staff, setting and place for everyone to grow together in God's love."

"Just Amazing. Went a little over a week ago with my church and I am just so delighted with our experience. The camp itself is big and spacious. The cabins were very clean and had ample space. I will say the cabin bathrooms do need a big refresh but I am willing to compromise if it means enjoying the amazingness of merriwood. The dining hall was clean and ordered, the sitting area was very nice. My most favorite part: the meals. I’ve been to many conference centers/ retreats and this is the first one that serves meals family styles and I could not be more overjoyed. I didn’t know what to expect but the versatility of the meals, the allergy accommodations, being filled after eating, and having the tables set was just amusing. Staff was a joy and treated us so well. The rec fields were very spacious and staff lead activities were fun and engaging. The paddle boats and canoes are of good quality and were very safe. The gym and worship space were large and accommodated our group very well. Water coolers were nice and filled. I can’t put into words the great experience I had. Leaders, organizers, etc if you are considering holding your event here, you will not be disappointed. Hopefully I have a chance to come back and experience merriwood once more!"

"We used Camp Merriwood for a weekend retreat for our youth group. The staff was SO helpful in planning ahead of time for such a big weekend. Hannah is very organized making sure every detail is thought of before the weekend begins. Once we got to Merriwood, the staff was very attentive to any needs & happy to host our group! Students also have plenty to do during REC/Free time. Highly recommend this camp with leaders who prayed over our group months in advance!"

"I hosted an event here for River Oaks Community Church. Camp Merriwood rolled out the red carpet and gave us a fantastic evening. Before the event was over, I had people asking when could we do it again. The Merriwood staff made everything easy, were super to work with, and provided excellent hospitality. We'll be back."
