"Beautiful, but OMG THE STAIRS. They will almost break you getting up or down the stairs but the waterfall is so worth it at the bottom!"

"Awesome waterfall. It requires several steps but the hike is short, about a mile overall. There are several benches along the way if you get winded. There are restroom facilities at the trailhead and several parking spaces."

"If you go left on the loop trail, you’ll get to Stone Mountain Falls somewhat quickly. There are lots of steps down/up to the falls, which can definitely be tiring. At the falls there were lots of kids and adults alike hanging out, playing in the water, climbing. It got pretty busy and crowded, especially since there’s not a lot of space to spread out. I enjoyed this stop while doing the loop trail!!"

"Absolutely beautiful Falls to visit in mid autumn when the leaves are changing. The falls are accessible via hiking trail that has parking in restroom facilities at the beginning. I would recommend arriving early because this hike is popular and the parking lot can fill up. Be prepared for lots of stairs. This trail is dog friendly, and we met lots of dogs along the way."

"Leave from the Upper Parking Lot and it is all downhill (and down the stairs) to the base of the falls. Obviously then coming back to the parking lot will be all uphill. The stairs are definitely tough but not impossible. Multiple “rest” points that have a bench along the way for you to take a break and catch your breath if you’d like. Beautiful falls once you get to the bottom. Some fun rocks to climb on if you want to get different angles, but not required to still get a great view looking up!"
