Reviews of The Grumpy Barbers
"Locked my keys in the car when I got there and it was still a great experience...second time going there (new to the area) Matt is a hair wizard and everyone from him to other customers offered to help me with my key situation.. not just a good haircut but great people."
"Great atmosphere and a job well done. I had Sarah cut my hair and it was exactly what I asked for! They are very friendly as well, I will be coming back every time!"
"Without a doubt, the best barbershop in the area. From the ability to seamlessly book an appointment online, to asking questions and having them answered, to the haircut itself. Exceptional service from beginning to end! I went in to donate my hair and was instructed to book with Teresa, turns out she's done it countless times so she knew exactly what to do. Teresa has the utmost attention to detail and made sure to listen to what I wanted and brought it to life. She is incredibly thorough with her work and makes sure your haircut is exactly what you want. If I didn't know any better, I would have thought she had 20+ years of experience. Seriously, she's only been a barber for 1 year! She's an absolute rockstar and has gained a customer for life. I've never been one to go to a specific barber over and over, but that has changed after getting my haircut with Teresa. The shop itself is also super cool, with a real old-school barbershop feel (and free root beer)! I also enjoyed chatting it up with Matt the whole time and believe it or not he's not that grumpy! Matt & his wife have done a phenomenal job with the Grumpy Barbers and I look forward to coming back for many more haircuts!"
"I spent $55 on a young man's haircut and a small boy's haircut that were both completed under 30 minutes total. Our prior barber takes that much time per client and takes the time to properly prep, cut, and clean off her customers. We arrived to a messy station, the barber had me comb my son's hair since he didn't want to take the time to do it gently, and left with uneven cuts and sloppy fades. He couldn't find his hair dryer (not the first tool of his trade he couldn't find during our visit) and had Teresa clean the hair off because he wasn't like her who "babies her clients". Both my sons left with hair all over them. The barber mentioned he used to charge $100/haircut but his skill didn't match his claims of excellence or experience. Very disappointed and thought it necessary to let others know our experience if it better informs their own choice of barber."
"My son and husband went here for a haircut today. This was my son's first ever professional haircut (thanks to COVID) and surprisingly,he sat still the entire time.so you can't even blame the kid for a bad hair cut! The barber messed up both of their hair. My husband had to keep correcting the person bcz they were missing spots and it still ended up being a disaster. We are very unhappy with the outcome and will not be returning."
