"The whole staff was friendly and helpful. Dr. Ben Lago is an excellent dentist and my procedure went smoothly without any problems. Without question, he is the best Dental Surgeon I have ever used. I highly recommend Dr Lago and Lexington Modern Dentistry. My reason for going to Modern Dentistry was because I had a Tooth broken off down to the gum and it could not be extracted by the normal method of removing a tooth. Dr Lago never hurt me in any way at all and it took only about 15 minutes to remove my broken tooth. The shots I received in my gum were without pain.Thank you all!"

"I did not like this dentist office at all. In my opinion, they are looking for issues where there are none in order to charge you extra or to be able to bill insurance extra. On my first visit before I had even seen anybody they said somebody would be in to discuss a treatment program. A treatment program? I go to the dentist every six months like clockwork. I have no cavities. I have no dental issues yet. They are going to talk about a treatment program. The only reason I changed dentists from the one I had been going to for the last nine years was due to a change in my insurance coverage. My dentist did not accept my new insurance company, so I had to find a different dentist. When somebody finally came in, they told me that my gums were in terrible shape and if they didn’t do something that would cost me $1200 that I would be at risk of a stroke or worse. Obviously this baffled me due to my last visit at the dentist were no issues were discussed. When I declined this $1200 treatment and asked to just have a normal cleaning done, they said that they could not do that because my gums were in such poor shape. I left the office and immediately made an appointment at another dentist office and paid out of pocket . I asked them their opinion of my gums and overall dental health, and they said that I was absolutely fine. That they see this sometimes with large dental corporations where they try to run up the bill. Needless to say I will not be going back to this dentist office . In my opinion, they did not behave very ethically."

"Both my spouse and I had our first appointment and our teeth cleaned. We found all the staff friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you to the xray technician who was so nice and professional. They use the latest equipment. The dentist (Dr. William Thorner) and hygienist (Flori Hopper) who worked on us are outstanding. Also, thanks to Michelle and the receptionist staff for being patient with our many questions."
