Courtyard by Marriott Rock Hill 1300 River Run Court, Rock Hill, SC 29732

"My family stayed here during Christmas Eve.. The rooms were nice.. The young lady at the front desk was very professional and nice.. HOWEVER, we did not have running water for almost 8 hours on Christmas Eve! I understand that things happen, management promised extra “points” on our account.. but nothing has been done. Very disappointing. Don’t promise things to people, and then go “ghost” when asked about what you’ve promised."

"We have stayed at Marriott brand hotels for 45 years. They were always clean with great customer service. We’ve noticed the brand deteriorating since Bonvoy took over. This Courtyard in Rock Hill was the worst we’ve stayed in. Mold in the shower, rusty soap holder, out of shower gel in the shower, sticky handle on the nightstand, no Kleenex. Out of many breakfast items at the Bistro. Asked for napkins and we were given the type used in a bathroom dispenser. The public bathroom did not have soap dispenser but tiny bars of soap instead. Very disappointing!"

"Nice rooms, quiet and comfortable. No complementary coffee or breakfast for the guests. Everything is a fee. The shower curtain in my bathroom did not extend to the shower pan making for a very wet and dangerous floor upon exiting. Overall a nice place."

"I would not recommend staying at this Marriott property due to the lack of cleanliness primarily in the bathroom. As you'll see in the pics I attached, there is mold in the showers, the soap dish is rusty, and there is just general grime on ledges such as the top of the light switch (it's not old paint or discolored, you can see the right corner where I wiped it with my finger and it came off). There are maintenance issues as well, such as the faucet over the sink that sprays water onto the countertop if you push the lever to the side (I discovered this when I was trying to push it over to select hot water and it started spraying water out from around the fitting). I mentioned the issues to the front desk receptionist during checkout and she said she'd have someone look at it but she didn't seem surprised or bothered. In case management reads this, I was in room 103. It is worth mentioning that the location is good as there is a restaurant right across the parking lot, a Starbucks across the street, and plenty of gas stations and other essentials if you're stopping for a night as part of a road trip. It isn't in the heart of downtown or anything, but it's just fine for a stopover. There were kids playing in the indoor pool and a small but serviceable gym with 4x pieces of cardio equipment and some free weights. It's clearly an older property but they've put some effort into renovating the lobby. If only they'd do the same to the bathrooms."

"We had a small issue with family coming at different arrival times and ahead of me. They helped us work through this. Like always, the Marriott seems to meet all of our needs. Kim was really sweet and volunteered to take care of my family when they arrived. Thank you so much"
