"I toured this location as a potential parent. When I visited the toddlers room, I witnessed a teacher, Ciah, picking a one year old toddler up by one arm from the floor while holding a tablet. It was not aggressive; however, this could have broken or dislocated the child’s arm. This was the main reason for me not choosing this location."
"I have to say I LOVE this school, I am expecting later this year and walked in to your. Even through I was a walk in they made time for me and I appreciate that. When touring the school I spoke with the Director Ms. Jordan and another manager who was training named Ms. Colleen. Their knowledge about both their school and early education is a great comfort especially to a new mom like me. The infant room is inviting and bright and the babies looked so happy."
"Someone didn't put my tour into their system after I was told Friday they had an opening and to come in Monday. I had to work within the hour after the "scheduled" tour and drove 40 mins and got there a few minutes early. Then To be told it wasn't in the system, it was found sometime after on a sticky note. Then was told someone took my the spot on a tour Friday but no one said anything after I just called that morning and the wait-list is now for several months. (Still didn't offer me a tour). My child was upset cause she loves to see the school at least as we've been looking. This created a Huge inconvenience in my day. Also walking into the center, being told the director is out sick and it seemed completely chaotic? Is there not asst director, why is the staff so panicky with no sense of direction. It was 9a and certain employees weren't even ready to receive children as they were just walking in. Like I said I'm a previous preschool teacher so I noticed a lot. A crib with a child right at the constantly opening door with winter air blowing and a child sat there all alone with no supervision. Was it one of your children? It could be. To think that could've been my child. I'm kind of relieved I witnessed this because I would want more organization where my child is attending, a bit startling. This is the same negligence that allow children to end up missing or outside, mistakenly left. I don't care what type of security y'all trust in. I'm a complete stranger to those babies but was left alone with them at the front door. Please don't generically respond actually do something about this."
"I cannot speak to the quality of childcare at this Childtime, but I can speak to the administrative issues I experienced repeatedly. Like others here, I tried to schedule a virtual tour twice and was ghosted both times. Still, I put my kid on the waiting list. A couple of months later, someone called me to "confirm" my child was attending the school in a matter of days, but gave me the wrong child's name. When I corrected the issue, but said we were still interested in getting my kid a spot, the person on the phone said they called by mistake and would call me back later that day with more information... but never did. Another couple of months later, I was called by Childtime *again* to confirm my child was attending the school in a few weeks time (with a specific start date). I'd never been called to say my kid was off the waitlist, nor asked if/when my child could start. Plus I had already found them a spot at another daycare. I told them I didn't need it and was told I'd be removed. One week later, I got an email saying I owed Childtime money and was delinquent in payments. For a school my child wasn't going to. I called the school, they laughed it off in a way I found dismissive and said they'd fix it. I'm sure the teachers are lovely, but I'm very disappointed in the staff experience at Childtime and I hope they resolve these issues soon."
"Overall we're happy with this place, and grateful for the way they handled the pandemic so far. Both me and my husband are working full time and it made a world of difference knowing we are leaving our son in a safe and caring place. There is room for improvement, especially on communication side and follow up, but staff and teachers we had dealings with here conducted themselves professionally. Our son had a wonderful experience in his early Pre school and pre school class with a devoted teacher. Pandemic put a lot of stress on staff and teachers I think, but they kept things going when many had to close their doors and they are rapidly recovering now with increased number of teachers. I hope they keep the momentum and responsiveness to feedback!"
