Reviews of Outbreak - Dread the Undead
"I normally don't do scary attractions very gracefully and was really nervous to try Outbreak this year after only making it a few steps into the first room last year. But I went through it with another party (did Outbreak as part of the All-Access Pass, which is a great value) this time. Shout-out to Ronan, who worked the downstairs attractions and was very friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic, and he explained to us what we would encounter in the attraction, and the last thing he told us before he shut the door was "You've got this!" The video got my heart racing, and I was a little apprehensive to enter the haunt itself, but it turned out to be awesome! Cool animatronics, still scenes, and video, and the actor did her job to the letter...scared me silly! The actors will not chase or touch you, just cool jump scares, but there is an area where the path is narrow and hands sticking out on either side that get a little close, but they aren't real and don't move. But that section freaked me out just the same. There are a couple really dark hallways, but I trailed the walls and did just fine. Caution to anyone prone to seizures, as there are a lot of starting loud noises, and the attraction may be too much for children and pre-teens. If you're nervous to try it, you can go through it with another party. It's a good length, realistic, scary, and fun...it freaked me out but I had a lot of fun and came out laughing! Would definitely recommend to anyone who likes a good haunted attraction! And you can buy an Outbreak T-shirt at the gift shop."
"Went on Halloween. Fun for younger children. Lasts about 10-15 min, Cost me $45 for 1 adult & 2 kids. "Zombies" were all clunky & loudly mechanical & sounded like a muffled drive-through speaker. Probably won't return. Very forgettable experience. Blah."
"Well I am a 9 year old and i was too scared to continue. The attraction starts with a video saying that they’ve teamed up with the U.S army to make some type of source kinda like caffeine but it works 24/7 and it was to strong which caused testers to die but the source caused the testers to become zombies and they need you but the zombies escape and attack the scientists which makes the video to cut to this guy telling you have to escape before killing a zombie with a shotgun then he says that he can lock the zombies but the rest is up to you then someone opens a door and they try to startle you with sounds and animatronics and then it cuts to black then hands start to come out of the wall and if it is too scary there is emergency exits i went though one of them so the rest is up to you!"
"Hell yeah! This thing was awesome. It you take your kids get ready to have them sleeping with you for a few nights. My wife was screaming like a little kid, it was great. We can’t take pictures once we are inside so you have to go to see it."
"An awesome experience. Something great for a date, or a family memory. The outbreak zone was a great scare but might be too much for kids. Gets pitch black at a certain point in the walk. The wax museum was incredible & even the mirror maze was pretty cool, definitely geared more for a child but we’re 30 and 23 years old and we enjoyed it haha there’s even a “laser maze challenge” that is included with your purchase. I thought it was decently priced and a great 1-2 hour memory."
