"I really want to give Bill Russell 5 stars. For home and auto, the local team here has always been fantastic. They are good communicators and always strive to please the customer. However after 4 years of service without incident, on my first substantial claim for a no-fault deer-strike, State Farm's Central Claims Department mucked things up over and over again. Without boring anyone over the details, an obvious total-loss claim was strung out over the course of 3 months, leaving me without a vehicle and yet on the hook for continuing payments and insurance. Once they were finally able to admit this was a total loss, their inaction and ineptitude greatly impeded my process of financing a replacement vehicle. When looking at the big picture, it would be difficult to perfectly execute so many failures in sequence, without getting a single thing right. This leads me to question how much of this process is actually intentional, for the purpose of fonancially benefitting from delays of disbursement. When you look at the scale of the scam-like operation, there is a lot to be gained by delaying disbursements a month or 2 or 3 whenever possible. Shame on State Farm, as their negligence and total disregard for the people they serve has turned a very satisfied and loyal customer into a disgruntled former customer. It has caused specific harm to me and my family, but also to the reputation of the local staff, who I respect greatly."

"UPDATE - 2/18/20: It's been two months since my accident and I am finally getting this resolved from State Farm. The original in network body shop kept pushing me back. I took it to another body shop (First Aid) with terrific service. Upon their inspection, the original body shop missed the estimate by a couple of thousand dollars. Now my car is totaled. And I ended up renting a car out of pocket for no reason. To the office's credit, they have been trying to be as helpful as possible, but there's really nothing they have been able to offer. I found a new company who's rates are lower and coverage (rental car too) are lower. I'm sure State Farm's intent was not to be cruel in this claim, but until now at it's resolve, I feel that has been their impact. I am beyond disappointed in this unhelpful, falsely sympathetic State Farm office. I've been a customer of this insurance agency for twelve years. They've only made contact with me to tell me how they will not help me in just about any claim I've made. (twice in twelve years) The latest came after a policy that transferred into my name didn't have rental car coverage? After an accident, I now have the entire rental car portion out of pocket. Why would you cover a car collision repair and not include rental coverage? Their rates are the highest in town, and they didn't even bother to help lower rates to customers during the Pandemic. The lack of personal touch out of this office other than to call me today and offer to sell me rental coverage in case I have another accident is deplorable. There are many other choices out there."
