"Not your run of the mill barber shop. Was on vacation and needed a haircut and found this place. If you are in a hurry, this place isn't for you. If you have time for a good haircut for a good price along with great conversation, then stop in. Though we were complete strangers, it felt as if we were two old friends who haven't seen each other in a while and were catching up. Great conversation about current events, past events, and some history of the area. I will be sure to stop in on my next vacation to the area."

"Awesome place. The business is in a house looking establishment (white people don't be intimidated by the atmosphere/location). I'm white, and it's a black barbershop, and if you want a perfect haircut and great conversation in the meantime this is the place to go. Great place, good prices and better service. It's run by the father and son. Between the two they have a lot of experience cutting hair as good as it gets, but overall they are some of the most down to earth, candid, hospitable guys I've met in myrtle beach, or anywhere for that matter."

"Chester and Quincy are literally the "go to father and son" duo barbers in the area. I absolutely love them, however with every positive comes a negative. As great as they are with being professional and on their A game, the wait time is horrible. Even though they spend literally an hour on each customer hair, I understand that they want quality and I appreciate it. That wait time won't hinder me from being a frequent customer. Great barbers they are. I would recommend."
