"I am leaving this review due to a negative experience I had in regard to a haircut I received on 11/14/2023 at the Hope Mills, NC location. I have a simple undercut and have been doing business with y’all for a little over a year (the same amount of time I’ve had an undercut). I go almost every week for a touch up. Unfortunately that day I had to go to the Hope Mills location because the Ramsey St location I usually go to was backed up by 2 hours and I needed to be done in time for another appointment. The stylist was Lucinda. She was very rough with the clippers and kept hitting them against my head rather than gliding motion like normal. She did not perform the cut like I’ve noticed all other employees have that have touched my head. I have a hard line separating the undercut from the rest of my hair. Instead of following that, she took the comb and went in a downward direction while the cIippers met the comb in an upward direction. I remember thinking while she was doing this, “that’s weird. Why is she cutting like that? I hope she don’t cut off more than she’s supposed to.” Due to having another appointment I needed to make within the next 20 minutes, I left as quick as possible afterward. I usually get my undercut touched up on days that I have to wash my hair. So after coming home and finally washing my hair, I found a big chunk of hair in my hands after rinsing my shampoo out. Upon further inspection, I’ve noted that my hairline for my undercut is no longer even. Immediately after I discovered that amount of hair was no longer attached to my head I submitted a inquiry through the customer support online. This was at 10:27 PM. On 11/15/2023 at 3:01 PM I received a response from customer support stating that they apologize for the inconvenience and had forwarded this information to the store owner and manager and that I would be contacted to hopefully come to a resolution. I responded back and attached pictures of how much hair was taken out and how my undercut was no longer even. I did not receive a response. On 11/21/2023 I sent in another inquiry through customer service since I still had not heard from anyone and as of today I still have not been contacted. I have been to my usual location since then multiple times and even spoke with the manager there. They reached out to the region manager and I still have not been contacted my anyone. I understand that it’s the holidays but this is completely unprofessional. 12/20/2023- I was able to find the owners phone number and I sent her a detailed text explaining all of the above and included the pictures. As of today 12/27/2023, I have yet to hear anything from anyone. Due to having such long hair, I wear my hair pulled up a lot, especially with what I do for a living. It was so embarrassing to have to walk around with my hair messed up like that. Even more so to fix that I’d either have to cut even more hair off or wait until it grew back out which still would’ve looked horrible for at least a year. Not only am I disgusted with the haircut I received, but I am also absolutely disgusted with the lack of customer service. The only reason why I am giving a public review now is because I was hoping that contact would be made and a resolution would be reached. However, that does not seem to be the case. "How do I begin describing how completely disappointed I am with my haircut. I have grown my hair out for the better part of 2 years and decided I was ready for a cut. Considering my hair was over a foot long, I knew there was plenty of length to achieve the desired cut I wanted. This was the only place open on Father's day and my wife said she had heard good reviews so I agreed to get it cut here. Lucinda cut my hair and upon showing her the picture of the cut I wanted she acted confident and grabbed some electric trimmers and instantly started cutting large portions of my hair off. When she finally spun me around to see in the mirror so far I was sick to my stomach but maybe I was overreacting until I saw all of it. The cut didn't follow the natural shape of my head, she left it super long in the middle while basically buzzing off any chance of correcting it. The long hair stops halfway from the front with little to no blending and the side fade on one side looked like a ladder design and the other an L shape with absolutely no blending at all. My hair is ruined and I have at minimum 4 months of growing out to try again at the hair style I wanted. 2 years of growing it and in less than 10mins ruined by placing trust in this company's choice of employees. I do not recommend this establishment unless you want a very basic cut that doesn't require layering, fading or detail work. 20.00 bucks for nothing but disappointment."
"I waited TWO hours for a haircut for my son. My son gets in the chair and I show her a picture of a fade I would like and a line in the side of his hair. I asked her to take more off the sides which she agreed to. Not long after she starts taking hair off the top when I clearly asked for the side to be done. I say something to her again and she doesn’t respond. Just grabs the clippers to start cutting and STILL didn’t cut it right!! A complete waste of time and money. I have to book another appointment to fix this mess of a haircut."
