"The service was fine, no disrespect to those working there but the matzo ball soup I just got for takeout was so terrible. Seriously. It was teeny (for $9.50!) and the broth was way over salty with a funky taste. The broth was cloudy too, probably related to that funky taste, that usually means the cook put the whole chicken in (giblets too) and let is boil too high so it gets this scunge that you are supposed to skim but sometimes it just melts into the broth. The matzo balls were a bit tough. I tried to thin the soup with more broth at home to make it less salty and try to save my lunch but the funky taste won't go away. My husband ate his sandwich in the restaurant and said his pastrami was chewy. All around bummer."

"Had a great lunch at Zella’s yesterday. I had the lox bagel and cucumber salad, my boyfriend had the meatball sub and hash browns. Everything was delicious!"

"YES!! First time trying this place we did lunch delivery. Great menu! We had Reubens, Fried Bologna, a turkey sandwich along with Pasta and Potato salad. Wonderful flavors, good portion size and definitely quality ingredients. I'm already planning on what I'm gonna order next time. Thank you for a delicious meal!"

"I was delivered moldy baklava (that was given to me instead of what I actually ordered; the knish). Absolutely disgusting. Food was old, and way overpriced."

"Exactly what you want from a deli! The smell of fresh baked bread the second you walk in is AMAZING! My family got a bunch of sandwiches and all split everything - I highly recommend doing that. The corned beef, so yummy! Pastrami, drooling just thinking about it. The breakfast sandwich, perfect oozy cheese and crispy bacon. Oh, and at no point will you question if you’re getting your money’s worth, those sandwiches are STUFFED! Very cute aesthetic inside, and bigger than it looks at first. Adding this to my ‘must go to’ list for whenever I’m in Asheville."
