Asheville East KOA Holiday

"Asheville East is one of my favorite KOA campgrounds. There are campsites around the lake and riverside. The staff is friendly and helpful. The camp store is well stocked with camping gear. There are gas stations, grocery stores and restaurants nearby. Black mountain has a few nice restaurants too!"

"The campground is nice. However, DON’T get a spot in the front left lot. We were in A5 and the spots are so freaking close that you’re literally walking through your neighbors campsite, while they’re cooking on the grill, to hook up your sewer pipes. Seriously, the grill is three feet away from the sewer hook-ups. Definitely will not stay in the cheap lot again."

"Great place to camp in the Asheville area. The restroom facilities were outstanding - modern and clean. The staff was very friendly and helped us with backing in our trailer when we arrived on site. Perfect location if you're looking to be sub 30min to downtown. Will be staying here again when we come back to the area."

"We've tent camped here many times over the years. Most recent trip we booked a cabin. Friendly staff. They do a great job of keeping the property and restrooms clean. Most people utilizing KOAs are polite and obey the rules to make the experience pleasant for everyone, which I've found isn't typical of many campgrounds."

"This is a great KOA Campground. The grounds are very well kept up. The staff is amazing and so helpful. We were having issues with our hot water heater and they were right there to lend a hand and to give us a name of someone local to come fix it. The bath house at the main building is dated, but clean. The WiFi worked great since I work remotely. They were very quick to clean and turnover sites."
