"DO NO SPEND YOUR MONEY AT THIS FIRM. They are not professional at all. My mother had a divorce case with William Matos and he did not do a good job handling it. Never communicated efficiently with my mom even after my mother paid full amount. She only got to speak with the attorney ONCE. We waited a whole 2years thinking Matos was working on the case only to be notified that the judge closed our case all because of Matos terrible job as an attorney. All the documents had typos in the them which is super unprofessional for an attorney and there were many inconsistencies in the case. "Mr. Morantes: The case was on a temporary calendar in June, 2022. It was canceled after we had a temporary consent agreement for the court's consideration. You did not want to sign the consent agreement because the child support was basically too much, even though is was consistent with CSW. Consequently, at the time of you relieving me, which was a blessing, since you failed to take any advice, a mediation and final hearing were scheduled. What is eye opening, you ended up paying the same amount of child support you were advised you were going to pay and much more plus the custody arrangement was the the same as suggested. If you are going to post a review. You need to be fully transparent. At the end, the life lesson is that children cost money. Life Lesson!!! Good Luck!!"

"I highly recommend to stay away from William Matos. I hired this guy to represent me for my daughter’s custody and child support. This guy will be nice and sweet to take your money at first but after that, he will throw you in the pile of unhappy and unpleased customers he has. It’s a fact, I’m not saying this out of anger - the person of recommended him to me also had a huge delay on their case due to their incompetence, if she had not called, she wouldn’t even know that her case was just sitting somewhere on the pile and not submitted for a hearing yet. As my case was pending, I kept sending text messages to William asking for suggestions or status on my case - yet he will take long to respond, no response, or providing vague responses. No professional communication whatsoever. The day my second payment was due, one of his employees call me to collect the money, so I provided her with my CC(shouldn’t have) and asked his assistant to respond to my messages but never got back to me. I never felt this guy represented me at all. Apart from filing papers to court( I could’ve done this myself), he did nothing else. So, today he got fired and told me “thank goodness, you are your worst enemy” what kind of professional lawyer says this to an unhappy client. Requested a refund but he would not provide me the amount that he will refund. I guess I can keep you all updated to see if he was, AT LEAST, fair with his refund. Remember stay away and look at the negative reviews on here! They are mostly related to his poor communication skills.I just think he does not have the bandwidth to handle all the cases he has."
