"The only bad thing I can say about this business is that the open hours and the busy portion of Yadkin road the store is off of can make it a challenge to get to the store, but for those who tough it out, it is well worth the effort! There are at least 25 different types and makes of dance shoes, and the owner personally fits a dancer, ensuring that the dancer's footwear provides a solid foundation for the season. Unless you are in the market for a $500 shoe, there is a shoe here for every budget ranging from $25 to $250. The prices are at or below the prices you can find online for the same brands, so The Dancer should definitely be your go-to for footgear... There is also a wide selection of dance clothing and accessories, so you can fully outfit your dancer. For the most part, all of the gear is high grade, so The Dancer wont beat Walmart on price for tights and leotards, but The Dancer's gear will fit and wear better (and last longer) than what you can get at Walmart. I recommend, even if you get Walmart for dance class, pick up a couple of outfits from The Dancer so you have pro-level gear in case you have a rehearsal with an audience."
