"I was happy with my previous stylist/colorist, but after 10 years with her felt like I needed a fresh perspective. So happy I found Kristen! From the first "onboarding" call I could tell that she is passionate about color, and importantly, education. Having now been with her for two years, I couldn't be happier. She truly understands the "low maintenance" aesthetic, and my cut and color holds up so well over time. I'm picky about keeping everything on point, but her cuts are structured so well you could easily stretch the time between without having it look grown out. Same with the color. Whether I air dry or blow dry, my hair looks amazing and I get tons of compliments. We have worked together to achieve different color looks over time so that I always feel fresh and never in a rut, but still within my comfort zone. I also referred my mom to her and her hair has never looked better. I feel like Kristin can serve a variety of ages and hair types. She is also incredibly personable. We can talk through the entire appointment or just be quiet, and it's never an awkward silence. She takes the time to create an experience, and has all the creature comforts to allow for that. I am incredibly happy to see her studio continue to grow. She keeps up with continuing education, which gives me confidence that she's in the know about the latest techniques, products, etc. and constantly evolving her skillset. She is also extremely knowledgeable and interested in the chemistry and "science-side" of hair and haircare, which leads her to offer professional-grade products that are worth the cost based on their actual formulation, and thus, results. I have no hesitation recommending her! I consider myself pretty in the know about hair, but she has given me new tips that have made my hair even healthier and stronger. She is not just a hairdresser but a hair artist!!"

I received my first Brazilian blowout from her and have been super happy with the results. In addition I have applied certain techniques she taught me and already noticed a difference. "I had a great experience with Kristen! After having semi permanent sewn in extensions in my hair from a salon in NY for my wedding I really was wanting a break from that level of maintenance. Kristen talked me through the whole process and made sure we were both on the same page with my hair goals. She gave me an amazing haircut and taught me how to use my products properly to keep my hair looking nice in between wash days. She also was an absolute angel and got the extensions out of my hair (crying happy tears lol). It’s been about a week since I’ve seen Kristen and I am still so happy with the results! Never had a hairdresser give me such detailed advice and instructions to reach my personal hair goals! She takes the time to really make your hair have that blended, natural look and takes into account what the state of your hair is and where you want to take it.
