"I hate to do this because they were all very nice, but unfortunately I just left with one of the worst manicures I’ve ever received. I did a gel manicure with OPI “put it in neutral” with a pearl chrome topper. She cut my nails but didn’t shape them, leaving them looking pretty terrible, didn’t remove my cuticles but painted over them, and then rubbed so much chrome so heavily into the nail that they are now essentially silver nails. One of those things where I didn’t speak up to say I wasn’t satisfied at the end when she said was done. And was also one of those things where she kept looking at the nails and acted almost like she didn’t even think they looked very good but didn’t decide to do anything to fix it…kind of a bummer but I won’t be going back."
"I would not recommend. I had to wait 25 min for a basic manicure when they were not very crowded. I asked to only file my nails and not cut them but my nail tech cut and filed my nails down extremely short. This is upsetting when you’re trying to grow your nails out and you express that to them. I also had to ask her to redo multiple nails because they were messy."
"It's an aestheticly cute establishment. There are plenty of comfortable massage chairs and a great color selection in regular and shellac. However, that's it. You'll get a bassic polish. Mine chipped within 24 hrs. I had to come back. They did fix it for free. I was a bit annoyed with the final shape and cuticle cut, but my nails grow fast, and I have long nail beds, so polish looks great on them. Techs need more training, but it's cool If you're into frills and aesthetics. My pictures (Pink) are 3 week grown out nails. The polished held up as I'm active with no overlay."
"Was greeted by owner offered beverages nice environment but waited a full HOUR to only get a manicure.. a white girl came in and got instantly chosen over me (Latina) she was done when they were just starting my nails I tipped the nail tech well she was fast and did my nails just how I wanted them"
"My boyfriends mom and brother took me to get a mani/pedi with them. I haven’t been to get my nails done in years because of bad past experiences. I was a little nervous going in since I didn't exactly know what everything was. My boyfriends mom thankfully went to school for cosmetology and works in a salon so she helped me explain what I wanted. I told the nail tech I wanted a very simply mani/pedi. I’m very stingy with my $$ even though boyfriends mom was paying I still wanted something very simple. The nail tech kept telling me it’s not going to last long if I don’t do the gel. I told her I don’t mind numerous time and that I just wanted a relaxing mani/pedi with a little blue on my toes. They were very helpful with picking my color and making sure it would show up. Very kind nail techs and my nails look great! But tell me why it was $100 for polish on my toes with French tips on my fingers? That’s not including tip and I hardly got a massage.. they barely rubbed the lotion all the way in. My boyfriends mom told me that was the most $ she’s ever spent on such a basic mani/pedi. She got the same as me with a little design on one finger and it was $110 and her sons was $70 for a mani/pedi with only a clear coat on fingers. We did notice he got more massaging and pedicuring on his feet even tho his was only $70. You’re telling me nail polish costs $30? Here’s the kicker, we repeatedly said NO GEL. I don’t want to pay for gel. And my boyfriends mom has melanoma so the UV lamps used for gel is not good for her. The nail tech kept telling us it’s not going to last long if I don’t get gel. We said we don’t mind, we were there for the experience. Despite repeatedly asking for no gel they still kept asking us to place our hand under the UV light. I had no clue what was going on but my boyfriends mom knew and tried to tell the tech she didn’t want her hand under the light long but the tech kept having her put it back under the light. I was happy with the way my nails looked but they completely disregarded our numerous attempts to avoid spending more money and getting skin cancer. My boyfriends mom was the one paying and she’s very polite and respectful so I bit my lip, also I didn’t fully understand everything and thought maybe that’s just how they do normal nail polish WHICH IS ALL I WANTED! I then saw them do the clear coat on her son without the UV light and thought what the heck I could have done that. I asked for that! I said I just want very basic and the tech suggested French tips so I went with the professionals opinion while still requesting no gel….. yet I got gel… Grand total for all 3 of us including tip was around $360…. We were all happy with the way our nails looked and the techs were very nice to us. They just weren’t nice to our wallets and I walked out of there still completely clueless as to why they wouldn’t just give me normal nail polish like I asked. I won’t be going back to get my nails done anywhere for a long time because it’s so humiliating to be disregarded so many times in one hour."
