Reviews of Jearoldstown Market
"This place is so inconsiderate of other people and a selfish owner. You cannot leave your car parked there out of the way for so much as an hour or they have it towed. There’s no sign saying you can’t park there or you will be towed. I spoke to him and bought items from the store from the owner and the minute I leave he has my car towed. Every time I purchase a vape it doesn’t work or it’s burnt as if it’s been used. I’ve bought one and half of the juice was gone out of it like it had been USED. They don’t replace it and if they do I had to pay more than what they even charge. I just bought a vape that didn’t work and I asked to switch it out for One that’s literally 2-3 dollars more and they charged me 10 dollars. I already paid for one it should have been free. They don’t care about anything but money. We no longer will return to this gas station for its lack of consideration for its customers. The blonde headed lady worker is the only one who I’ve had good experiences with. I do not recommend this gas station."
"This is a great little convenience store. It’s very close to my house and about twelve miles to the next closest place. There are a lot of people who live in this community who would have to drive those extra miles. They are family owned and very nice people. They carry items that are appropriate for the community. They serve food and are very friendly. There is something to be said for the ‘mom and pop’ stores sometimes. This is one of those times."
"This place is a throwback to a bygone era. It is getting four stars mainly because the lady at the cash register was very friendly. The gas pumps are from some point in 1980's. I actually almost got into an argument with a man who was trying to fill up using the same pump. There was only one gas nozzle on each pump and I didn't realize that until he came out of the store telling me that I was on his pump. I thought it was a a strange sexual innuendo until I realized there was no credit card reader on the pump either. The place smelled like a well-worn ashtray but did the job. It was by far the most organized store of its type. It is worth a visit and I will let you determine what type it is. I am writing this about 20 miles from our fill up and so far no signs of water in the gas! Happy travels!"
"Wonderful ladies that work here! I have been coming to this place a long time (motorcross love) and have always been treated with respect . Always Friendly!!"
"This place is awful, the women that work here are rude ! I don't understand why people think they can speak or buck to anyone they want. I ran out of gas with my child and by the Grace of God we made it here to get gas . The owner came out telling and screaming at me in front of her customers out front if the store at the gas pumps. It was entertaining for her regulars. However, rude unprofessional and embarrassing. It's awful how women treat other women especially in front of my child. This place is awful. I would never make sure you have gas when passing this place. And I had to give this place a star to post my treatment from these bullies of females. Who in the end ain't about that life . I would tell give them any money for gas after how she ran up on me yelling at the pumps but if I were to slap her bc I felt threatened she would call the police for assault. I'm not saying that's what happened but I'm just guessing the senerio had my son not if been with me and then running out of gas . This lady keeps it up she will cat h someone having a worse morning than mine and snap in her. I will make sure everyone I know is aware of the distasteful, distain establishment or lack thereof is. This is not nit making America great again ."
