"Been going to every one of their nearby locations and service, atmosphere, food and customer service has always been great and wonderful. This restaurant business lives up to their name and definitely delivers especially when you know what you want and knowing how to order and speak your order properly so they will always read it back to you right and if it's wrong they'll always be courteous and helpful to fix the order so you'll leave happy, even if you order by phone. I definitely think people haven't truly given this place a chance and are discrediting the business yes "521 BBQ" definitely gives you BBQ if you order it from the menu and not just assume they don't have it. Please remember if you simply had a bad experience that it's understandable but don't leave a review bashing them saying they don't offer something if you haven't fully checked out their menu or bother asking and they always might have had employees that are new and I'd love to say that your employees deserve beyond a 5 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ review although they haven't been there for years, they're trying their best and are very helpful. Sending nothing but great vibes and once again hope to see each of these employees get a raise and 521 team of the year forget just a month cause the service was awesome!!!!!!"

"Wasn’t impressed… Took my daughter here and food was very basic.. VERY VERY BASIC… ranks low to very bottom of BBQ experiences I’ve gotten.. I’m more of a hunting club style pulled pork and pork n beans guy myself.. don’t get your hopes up going here.."

"After being here 5 years I finally was able to try this restaurant. The food was excellent, quantity for the price was good as well. Waitress was professional, friendly and made sure we got what we needed. There was a gentleman singing and playing keyboard which added to a great atmosphere."

"Very good bbq. I've tried the location in Indianland. This location is downtown Lancaster. Food was very good. Service was very helpful and friendly. Very efficient. I had the combo ring tray with pulled pork. My sides were collard greens and white coleslaw. Both sides were very good. Pork was not dry and had enough smoke. Sauces are on the table. I would definitely recommend this location."

"Good Q. I like to stop and eat and BBQ joints whenever I travel. Hush Puppies were onion batters which makes for the best hush puppies. Wife and I got the pulled pork plate. Q was almost dry, not moist. Added the house sauce to it, tasty. Got sides of green beans, fried okra and potato salad...very tasty. Wife said potato salad tasted like the kind she makes. Place was clean and wait staff were friendly and prices decent. good size portions. I would come back here to eat."
