"I visited Dance Exchange based on the recommendation of my daughter's dance school. I'm new at this, so I did what was suggested. The staff at the store were friendly and very helpful! They made sure we got the right size ballet slippers and educated me on how they should fit. Out of not being sure of other options, I do feel the price I paid was a bit much, and this store doesn't do refunds. A basic leotard was about $27, and even though it looked like it fit my daughter everywhere, the straps kept falling down. We got other leotards elsewhere that were half the price and more functional. I don't mind paying for quality items, but I now have a leotard my daughter will never wear because it just isn't functional. Supporting local businesses is important, and just because it didn't work for me doesn't mean it won't work for you! Just be informed."

"I’ve purchased several things here and had nice experiences w the staff however, it’s obviously more convenient in this day and age to order things online … I choose to shop here and recommend it to friends because I like to support local businesses. Today, I called verifying they had something I needed and that they were open until 5, then proceeded to rush across town not knowing if I’d make it in time but my daughter was so excited when we arrived at 456. I saw a girl inside the door looking like she might be locking up but assumed she didn’t because she would know why we were here, the only car, parked right in front of their door. We rushed out and it was locked. Knocked, no one came. Called, no one answered. Terrible customer service. Will shop online from now on - way more convenient and won’t have to deal with terrible customer service like This."

"Traci and Mattie are wonderful! Our daughter was fitted today for pointe shoes, as new pointe parents my husband and I had no idea the process it takes to be fitted and showed up with out an appointment, they were able to squeeze us in anyways, Traci took the time to explain and educate us on everything about the shoes, how to care for them and how she determines if the shoe fits right. I love that they keep everything on record from the fitting so if you want to switch brands later they can help you find what you need easier. We had a great experience:"
