"We love this place! It’s got something for everyone: paved trails, musical instruments in the kids playground, soccer field, enclosed dog park section, great parking and it’s walking distance from yummy food. We take our Dog Lola for training with her life long coach. She is a very reactive dog, so it’s great to find enough space to train her without making anyone uncomfortable. I love playing with the instruments on my way back to the car. The trail is tempting but it’s hard for us to walk there with Lola who is still learning how to be sound other animals. If you’ve been there, please share!"
"This is a great park if you have kids and the trail is super nice and wide and paved. Downside is that it can get pretty crowded with people, walking dogs, etc.."
"Very nice park for kids. Swings, slides, rockwalls, monkey bars, musical toys and more. Paved walkways and playground equipment for little and big kids. Public bathroom, picnic tables and shelters. Trash and recycling bins. All well maintained. Update: Still loving this park! My kids and I have explored quite a bit now. Eno River basically runs all around and through parts of the park. There's beautiful paved trails and bridges to walk over. There's a beautiful covered wood path that runs right next to the river. The train goes right by the park and there's awesome views when it goes by, which is often. There's a community garden and bee motel and a small bamboo forest with little trails. There's a public book box, a separate fenced dog park and a soccer field. Great place to do sidewalk chalk, bicycles and scooters etc. for people like us that don't have a paved driveway or road nearby. Our go-to park!"
"Nice little park! The playground is really close to the parking lot, so plan on watching younger kids who may wander. The musical fixtures were missing some pieces but they were still fun to play with sticks. The pollinator garden was beautiful and I loved the insect hotel. Very well thought out, although it looked slightly vandalized (bamboo pieces pulled out and falling apart). Still really neat. We only walked a bit of the trail but everything was relatively clean. We went on a Saturday and it was lively! Kids playing soccer, a baby shower, and lots of people walking dogs. Will definitely visit again."
"Very nice park in Hillsboro with historical significance as well. The bridge is really cool and the park has a nice play area with a variety of things to play for all ages and a soccer field. There is also a "bee hotel" and a nice pollinator flower garden. There is also a section by the stream with quite a bit of bamboo trees."
