"First Ward Park offers some lovely views of uptown, and it's a nice place to spend some time outdoors. However, I do wish the restroom facilities were cleaner; they often appear shady and unclean."
"First thing, beautiful park & love what they have done there. It is definitely a good place to have your family and friends to enjoy some time together. It is truly a nice park but time for some honesty. One…TOO MANY HOMELESS INDIVIDUALS around….not to be mean but in order to keep that place in a beautiful and SAFE environment…this has to happen…remove them. You have too many families with children out there for this to be happening. Two….the park itself need some sort of park security on bikes and even walking around…it would do the park some good. Three…clean up that fountain in the back….the water is dirty and clearly if there are homeless people, they have been bathing in that. The park has true potential, like date nights with live music for the city ….must do better."
"It's a beautiful park with the backdrop of high-rise buildings and street parking nearby. It has a decent splash-pad, nothing special and a big ground for kids to run. As others mentioned, lots of homeless people around so you may not feel very safe if you don't come in a group. This is a shame because there were no homeless people here 5 years ago. One person bothered us where we were there but nothing too dangerous."
"A lovely park for the family to come and enjoy the day. There are water sprouts shooting around where the kids and adults can wet themselves to cool off the warm weather. The park allow people to play around with their family and the exercise area have nice equipment to get your workout on and get in shape. Great place to relax and enjoy with the family"
"Nothing special. A small park, kids can run around, small walking path around. Not too many options for kids. Unfortunately, there are lots of homeless. Scary feeling! Also, try to avoid using the public restroom located in the park. Don't know the woman's restroom, but the men's restroom is dezastruos! Homeless inside cleaning their clothes at the sink, dirty inside, smells disgusting and empty bottles (alcoholic drinks) on the floor. An interesting thing is the air quality station with a smart flower solar. Unfortunately, even this station is missing the info display with air quality results (information)."
