The staff is so responsive and kind! Lauren was our day of coordinator and she is a true rockstar in every sense. She was calm, professional and kept myself and family/wedding party calm and laughing throughout the whole wedding weekend. She has a true talent in this industry and you would be SO lucky to have her as your coordinator for your big day!! "My husband and I are extremely happy with having had chosen Bakery 105 for our wedding! The team was very responsive and easy to work with throughout the entire planning process. Jordan helped me out the most and was very clear when answering my questions. We hired their sister company 128 South for catering (wonderful food and portion size to say the least!) and the entire staff of both Bakery 105 and 128 South the day of were very friendly and did an amazing job. We got married on NYE 2023 and we loved how charming the courtyard was during our night time ceremony. The reception space inside was beautiful too - we especially loved the bar and the draping they already have set up in there. We were happy with the price of renting the venue / bar along with The Cottage for me and my girls to get ready in across the street. The location in downtown Wilmington was also convenient for our guests the entire weekend - we heard nothing but great things from everyone that attended. Definitely book here if you are looking for a Wilmington venue!"

"The absolute best decision we made was choosing Bakery 105 for our venue and Katie for our day of coordinator. The entire team at Bakery/128 South was so great to work with from day one. They were always extremely responsive, helpful and treated you like you were the most important bride even when they were working with numerous others. First, the venue is gorgeous and allows you to have inside and outside options. The brick inside and greenery outside provide beautiful canvases for your special day. We chose 128 South for catering and the food was amazing. We received so many compliments on our food so we know we made the right decision. Last but certainly not least, is Katie. What can I say other than she is amazing!! She was so much more than a day of coordinator. I planned my own wedding and could not have done it without her help. She assisted me with everything for over a year and never made me feel like I was a bother. On the day of, she was superwoman and ensured everything appeared flawless. Somehow, she managed to keep us on schedule and always appeared out of nowhere to put a drink in my hand! I truly can’t say enough good things about her and the entire team. They really make you feel like you are family. I can assure you that you’ll be in the BEST hands when you choose Bakery/128 South for your big day!"

"We had our wedding at Bakery 105 on 12.2.23. I can't say enough good things about Bakery 105 and their team. I literally had to cut down my review because I was exceeding the character limit :) Our wedding ended up being more perfect than we could have imagined. Katie was our coordinator. We did the Wedding Day Experience package. I highly recommend this package, especially if you are wanting to do a plated dinner. Here are the most important things I would consider if you're thinking about choosing Bakery 105 as a venue for your wedding: 1) It's absolutely beautiful inside and out. As soon as we walked in the building for our tour we knew we wanted to have our wedding at Bakery 105. The brick courtyard is covered in natural greenery that is green year round. There are lots of beautiful locations inside and outside the venue to take photos, as it's about two blocks away from the river walk and there are lots of historic buildings and brick streets in downtown Wilmington. They also have a place to get ready for brides called the Cottage on Orange Street that is less than 25 yards from the venue, which comes as part of the Wedding Day Experience package (but available to rent even if you don't do this package). I would highly recommend using this space as it's so cute and convenient, and has everything you need for getting ready on your wedding day. 2) If it's important to you to have nice food at your wedding, you cannot do better than Bakery 105. The food is AMAZING! And they give you SO much of it! We have had tons of people compliment the food for weeks after our wedding and even ask for recipes of things that were served. Having a delicious, plated dinner service was one of the most important things for us at our wedding. Bakery 105 exceeded our expectations as far as food especially. We did two plated meals, herb roasted beef tenderloin and lemon thyme salmon which came with two sides. I would definitely recommend these! We also got five appetizers for cocktail hour, an amuse bouche before dinner, and a plated salad before dinner. 3) The team at Bakery 105 is so helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, organized, and professional throughout the planning process. Katie guided us through everything and didn't make me feeling annoying for the seemingly thousands of questions I asked. They make you feel like your wedding is the most important and only wedding they are planning and are always available to answer questions quickly, by phone or email. When my husband's favorite drink did not come with our drink package, they were happy to make accommodations to make sure they served his favorite drink. I was always confident that they knew exactly what they were doing. 4) They are transparent and easy to work with as far as pricing. I never felt confused or surprised as far as costs. No surprise fees, etc. I feel like every penny we spent was worth it. 5) The service on our wedding day was unmatched. We had tons of guests approach us to tell us how amazing the servers and bartenders were. They were so attentive and were constantly passing appetizers, drinks, and refilling wine glasses and water. There was never a backed up line at the bar because they were so efficient. Katie in particular was amazing. There wasn't a second all night that me, my husband, and our guests didn't have everything that we needed. Katie and the staff made sure everything was so beautiful. We did a candy bar for our favors and I can't believe how beautiful they made it! 6) The location could not be better. One of the main reasons we chose Bakery 105 as our venue was because how convenient it is to everything in downtown Wilmington. There are tons of hotels, bars, and restaurants in walking distance to the venue. It is so nice for guests to not have to travel 30+ minutes to get to a venue in the middle of nowhere. So many guests stayed at the tons of hotels that were a 3 minute or less walk. I think having a location like this really makes your guests' experience on your wedding weekend so much better."

"If I could give Bakery 105 a million stars I would, they were AMAZING beginning to end! Our day was handled with such care, making sure every little detail was exactly how we imagined. The absolute magic this team puts on will blow you and your guests away, so look no further! They really are the experts here in Wilmington, and the setting is perfect for couples looking for a fun and beautiful day (that turns into an easy and walkable night out!) Davis was our DOC, and holy MOLY was he incredible! Our families could not stop raving about his energy and attention towards them and any needs. Drinks were kept full, everything ran on-time, and if there were any fires to put out my husband and I never had a clue! He’s an absolute rockstar!
