Reviews of Wallace Park
"A beautiful landscape with lots of wildlife including many native birds such as barred owls, hawks and falcons. Cute playground including swings and a completely neglected yet functional basketball court. Three stars due to the amount of used needles and syringe caps EVERYWHERE as well as general trash due to local addicts abusing the park as a place to shoot up. Heavy homeless traffic before 10am and after 5pm. Often feels unsafe even during busier daylight hours. Also, many folks ignore city leash laws and allow their dogs to wander off leash without any recall skills. Just not a park you can “relax” at."
"Great place for children and dogs. Lots of grass and room for playing soccer or frisbee also. Throw the football, whatever. I grew up practicing Pop Warner football and offseason high School soccer at this park. Very nice venue."
"Very nice park! We like the wide open grassy area and the bridges over the creek!! The kids enjoyed the playground equipment. And it's easy to walk to. We will be there again soon."
"Quiet little park with a good amount of shade. The play area for kids is adequate and there are a few swings there too. There is a lot of room to run around in the park so if your kids like to run around they will enjoy that. The way the park is set it's hard for your kids to get near a street without you noticing. Lastly there is an small stream that passes on the edge of the park, there is usually some kind of wildlife around for the family to discover."
"Well kept. Pet and child friendly. I go there to take pictures. Nice Cyprus trees."
