"Alex has done my hair for years now, and I have never walked out of the salon disappointed. He is so sweet and knows exactly what he is doing. He is a color perfectionist and knows how to cut hair extremely well. I highly encourage everyone looking for a stylist to see Alex."

"I had my hair done 2 weeks ago and wash my hair every 2-3 days. Got my hair done on a Monday, washed and styled it myself on Wednesday and was almost in tears. My hair looked beautiful in the salon, but when I got home and did my hair myself I saw how it really looked. My highlights don't go to my scalp, some stop in the middle of my hair then start again, some chunks are bigger than others. I was very disappointed to see this considering I paid $200... on the other note, Alex is a very nice guy, although I am honestly so embarrassed with my hair I'm going somewhere else to get it fixed. I have pictures of it but I'm not sure how to put them up."

"Alex seems like a nice guy and I was fairly happy with the cut but honestly the way he cut my hair kinda hurt my head. He seemed to rely on clippers and pushed it too hard onto my scalp which was all red by the end. Reasonably priced for Ballantyne but next time I would prefer to spend an extra $10 and get the finer experience at Salon M2."

"I have been going to Alex for almost 2 years now. This is the first hairstylist in Charlotte that I have trusted my hair to since I moved from Miami 5 years ago. (i paid a hefty price for my stylist whom I could trust to make me happy) I can go in and tell Alex to do whatever he thinks will look best and every time I leave so incredibly happy. Last time I posted a picture of my hair on Facebook...I received so many likes and compliments! Even some, from people I had not spoken to in a while. Not only do I love my hairstylist but the atmosphere of the salon reminds me of back home, modern and energetic (like Miami)."
