The Barn in Penrose

"The Barn at Penrose is an amazing open air venue with a feeling of fresh air, beautiful trees and a comfortable breeze! I recently took part in a 3 day art class and the experience was fabulous! I was inspired by the sounds of the birds, the modern rustic feel and the various shades of green of the trees. We ate lunch on the picnic tables set out and saw hummingbirds as well! This is my 3rd time at an event at the barn and it’s always a treat!!"

"Had a wonderful time in art class last month at The Barn at Penrose! Billie Shelburn was a kind, humorous and informative instructor. The Barn is such a harmonious venue! The Barn’s structure allows you to feel the breeze, hear the birds singing and leaves rustling and appreciate the beautiful mountain surroundings, while having protection from the elements, comfortable workstations and full kitchen and restroom facilities. The catered lunches were yummy, and Pinky made sure everything flowed smoothly and was a great host and coordinator! I’ve had such a great time, I’m coming back up from FL next month for another class!"
