Reviews
"If you don't know, it's outside! So bring a blanket if it's in the fall or winter. Other than being cold, I loved it. Young Frankenstein was a great play."
"Very rustic venue, but very cool and unique. Located in the NC foothills in the town of Valdese. A great place to see productions put on by local talent."
"Historical Ampitheater used in outdoor productions by The Old Colony Players of Valdese. The show they primarily host at this theater is the Outdoor drama "From This Day Forward" recalling the history of waldensian settlers who colonized the area in the late 1800's. The theater is handicap-accessible and has restroooms and concessions. It's a beautiful cove tucked away in the woods so go see a show!"
"Went for my first time last night to this outdoor performance area to see Rocky Horror. The location is beautiful. It was a perfect Fall evening with a light breeze and leaves drifting down. We will be back to see more shows."
"The second production I've seen here! The colony players are fantastic. No bad seats for this audience. Acoustics here are very good and the actors and actresses are very easy to hear and understand! Cannot wait for what's next"
