"I take my sister's little disabled dog in a stroller so she can get outside and meet people. Wide, open walkways, nice play equipment for kids, quiet and scenic. Stream running alongside the park, covered picnic tables."
"Every year in May comes the beauty of the green trees, the sunsets, and the rushing waters of Cane Creek right next door. My family always comes here to watch my sisters ride their wheeled implements across the track, play basketball, or relax on the grass and the picnic tables. I don’t think of this as just a park with a playground for the little ones, but rather as a safe space for my mental and physical health, and somewhere to breathe when I need a break. It’s a mini version of Pisgah National Forest - full of trees, trails, and water - with a playground, of course. Everything is exhilarating here - especially at Spring Mountain in the spring."
"This little park in the country is such a great find. There's a paved walking path around the entire thing. It was great for my daughter to practice her scooter skills. There's a creek and picnic tables behind the playground. The playground has a DRAGON...what more do you need? There's a half court basketball court. And some exercise equipment, as well. A great place to take your kids! We loved it."
